  2. I like Sather’s potential for being a good coach, but our season wasn’t all that great, just the ending. Even Jones did that. We’ll see what the talent Sather brings in can do, because the top two are Jones recruits. The thing I like about Sather is that it is all being built around team, which means you can win even if you don’t have all the best players. Teams without egos and that work hard and together are fun to watch.
  3. I think it is a valid point when employees are expressing concern about the protection policies in place.
  4. Altru is worried about getting overwhelmed with the LM Windpower outbreak. What they are seeing behind the scenes must concern them.
  5. I heard a stat yesterday, that it was 22%, but not sure if that was local, statewide, or national.
  6. Could ask the same about the people committing suicide and domestic violence that has ramped up because of this?
  7. The reason they wouldn't be rolling 4 lines would be due to special teams play, and in that scenario Senden would see plenty of ice time and probably Weatherby as well due to his faceoff ability.
  8. No, he left because of TP issues. With the whole Coronavirus thing, the coaches couldn’t guarantee there would be enough toilet paper to go around.
  9. I was thinking the same about Hain and Senden, but was thinking that as long as there are other guys like Ness to fill the role with Senden, Hain probably deserves a chance to show he has the ability to fulfill another role. Doesn’t hurt to give guys like Blaisdell and Hain the chance to show the clubs that drafted them that they are flexible, and as long as it doesn’t hurt the team, why not.
  10. Thanks. I have a bit in cash due to transferring an account, and was thinking about buying in increments on the way down, but haven't really had the opportunity to do so. Just assumed we would be seeing more volatility both up and down, but haven't seen much on the downside for the past week or so.
  11. So for you experts in the stock market, would you be taking profits and getting out of some positions because of the recent rally. It seems like a lot of this is just irrational exuberance over some positive signs in the Coronavirus fight, and that there is a lot of hardship to come for many companies including some whose stock has gained due to a light at the end of the tunnel.

I think he will be a Torey Krug type player, and I think they are more viable in today's NHL. I think he can make a nice career for himself like a Troy Stecher or a Jared Spurgeon. Yes, he will need to improve on the defensive side of things, but if he can make modest strides there, I think he can have more than a short stint at the top level.
  13. Most of us are tired of just staying home, but to have to be in the midst of all of it must take a toll none of us can imagine, with the anxiety and physical and mental exhaustion. We appreciate you keeping up the good fight.

Both players were the engine of their team. Without Kawaguchi UND wasn’t quite the same, and the same could be said of Perunovich. Hard to decide between the two, so I think Perunovich had the upper hand based on the last few years.

No, I’m saying they let a backup play that doesn’t see much ice time.

Too bad that wasn’t the case for Greg Johnson against a freshman, although it was hard to argue with Paul Kariya’s year.

Which makes that all the more likely. A guy with that many shutouts and 59 minutes without giving up a goal and they don’t think he can make it less than another minute?

Or they left him in to give him the chance for a shutout, and then when that was over they gave his backup a chance to play.
  19. The backlog isn’t really at forward because it wouldn’t hurt for guys like Bowen and Halliday to play another year. Defense I would think is the area there is a concern of losing a recruit because of the numbers game.
  20. Also, keep in mind that guys like Coltyn Sanderson, and I believe Cole Smith started as non scholarship players, or minimal at most. Character guys that work their butts off help bring up the rest of the players.
  21. I’m not sure if there is a limit, as I know CC carried a ton of players, it just makes running practices a little more challenging, and might take away practice time from other players, which is why they would rather have players developing in juniors with a lot of ice time and playing in key situations.
  22. Do they still have the ability to pay in installments?
  23. It's kind of funny, because all of the hype a year or two before they came here was all about Tychonick, not JBD. In fact it wasn't a sure thing that JBD was even going to come in when he did until closer to his draft year. It just goes to show you that things can change fast and that guys that we think would be replacing certain players aren't always going to produce. Who would have thought Frisch would play as much as he did this past year?
