It is universal this year.

Hennessy talked to Mike Schmitt and he said there are about 5 officials that review for a possible suspension and each give their view on whether it is warranted without knowing what the others think. Schmitt said he leans on giving the benefit of the doubt unless it is particularly egregious. In the end though, and here is the kicker, with all the input it is still up to Don Adam and Fenton on whether to suspend, which is why Moore was suspended and Savoie wasn’t even though Savoie’s elbow was up from the start. Good old Don Adam.

Not nearly as bad as the Minnesota player that tripped the St. Cloud guy then was waiting for a penalty and when none was called they scored the winning goal. From the front on view you can see him obstruct him with his arm, but the other angle you don’t know if the guy is embellishing to draw a penalty. The ref looked like he was in a good position to view it, and a lot of times refs will just call the penalty when they see it produced a breakaway just to be safe rather than sorry. An embellishment doesn’t seem plausible in a scenario where a guy is going to have a breakaway. Mr. Bean certainly should be upset.

No, the NCAA says so.

An overtime win is a 55/45 split, so basically a tie.
-
So what you are saying is you like kissing your sister. Guess I’ve always been a little more competitive than accept a tie.
-
Yeah, system is flawless if you can’t win a game and expect it to count as a win if you get to overtime.
-
Never liked it when the NHL adopted it, and still don’t. Teams always want to bank those points, so play tight down the stretch in regulation.
-
I’m hoping the prospect of sharing with Denver helps them avoid the post trophy celebration blues that has been prominent on several occasions, and will help us keep our pairwise ranking, with a chance to still improve upon it.
-
And Denver will get a trophy as well and be the #1 seed if they win tomorrow and we lose. That is because in that scenario, they would win the tiebreaker.
-
They don’t, for the last time!
-
It surprises me Berry didn’t know it either.
-
Tim Hennessy or Olson didn’t even take the time to check the tiebreaker scenario.
-
Don’t pretend to know the situation, but if they lose tonight, and Gaber and Frisch play tomorrow, I will wonder what one day difference makes, and if a league title should be a situation where you play a little hurt and foresake the next man up mantra in that circumstance.

Omaha is feeling very confident with their game right now, and I think they know they have to continue to play well because their only option is to win the Frozen Faceoff. I don't think they want to take a step back in their play, so I think that is what they hope to accomplish this weekend. What is the over/under on Kleven having some hits reviewed this weekend?
-
More likely a flip to the OHL, although he did sign a tender with Tri City. We’ll see if anything sticks to Mel Pearson in the next few years.
-
Oh, was it that hole he was talking out of?

So you want the consistency of Sandelin whose teams are 76 games over .500 in 21+ seasons, over Berry, whose teams are 85 games over .500 in 6+ seasons. It would be interesting to see what other fanbases think of some of our bizarre fans.
-
So again we are back to the definition of consistent. Duluth hasn't won a league championship in about 30 years, but since they had a few runs at the end of the season, you are holding them out to be the model of consistency.
-
The first round exit was on a play that was deemed offsides, and 10 minutes later they seem to think there was clear evidence to overturn it, and later the rule was changed to prevent that kind of situation. Don't know how you can put outshooting a team like Boston University 59-29 as a failure on Berry's part, but as Ira said, shallow understanding of the game. NCHC coach of the year, 3 of 6 years, soon to be 4 of 7, but yeah, unless it is 7 of 7 it is pretty inconsistent.
-
So, here is your chance to put up or shut up. Who should UND be comparing themselves to? Is it whoever wins the championship that year? It used to be Boston College, but you don't hear that anymore. The fact that the comparisons are ever changing, yet UND is still firmly a threat year in and year out, certainly should show that UND hockey is a program that most would love to emulate.
-
Like I said before, the people that have the highest expectations for Berry have a low expectation of themselves, which really is sad.
-
And you were praising Berry when he won it, saying that Hak couldn't get it done and you were right. Then you are saying you want Hak back. Drinking too much truly does kill brain cells. Maybe you should look into Prevagen.

Yeah the fact that gfhockey is praising Faison now, shows that the incumbent is always the bad guy.- 48 replies

Not too far removed from this Pastrnak outfit, although this is tame for him.
