I love Duluth, but especially in the fall. It seems like forever since we faced them in Duluth in the fall, it seems like it is always in the second half when the weather can be iffy. I think the league should rotate when you play teams if possible, even if you can only do it every 4 years. I realize schedules can become issues with events like Omaha has early in the year, but would love to go up the North Shore of Duluth before Thanksgiving. Of course Duluth probably likes to keep our fans out of the arena, so I’m sure the blizzard season is fine with them.

So, you're saying we can put him out there to play boot hockey... I read ya!

The minute our season ends, Sanderson will be on his way to Ottawa. We are lucky to get a partial second year out of him. Hopefully we can make a run and have some more memories before he takes his game to the next level. -
Mark is on Wild live right now. Not good enough for college hockey, much less pro.
-
Textbook interference, Rich should have figured that out too. They needed to call it because they had numbers going the other way.
-
Gino Parrish, not Mark.
-
How can you be an announcer and not have any clue about the updated rules since you played the game.
-
Gino Parrish is as big of a homer as Mark Parrish was, both of them with oohs and aahs. Surprised Jim Rich didn’t correct him when he said he was surprised nobody was kicked out of the faceoff circle, unless he hasn’t been paying attention either.

This is what completely baffles me, people go ballistic every year and say we have no talent, then go overboard the other way when we are on a winning streak. We have the same talent we had earlier this year, in fact with injuries, even less, but now we are going to be world beaters?
-
Forgive me for not taking much stock in your predictions when you had us losing 90% of our games after the Western series, missing out on home ice, and not making the NCAA tournament. Hope you are right this time around though.
-
"At present we suck and that appears to be te storyline of this second half. We act like they should just declare us the winners just for stepping on the ice. We are gonna lose 90% of our reamaining games at this rate. " You sure seem to fluctuate from woe is us to overconfident. What happened to us not even making home ice?

There might be a lot of majors being reviewed though!

Meaning the regionals? -
Duluth decided that he should continue to wear it because it hides the scowl he has 90% of the time.
-
Would think we would be interested. Wish there was a way to flip Matthew Wood though, as he is leading the league in goals and points despite playing fewer games than most, and he is an ‘05!
-
If they get beat by Miami it could become a possibility, but I think they know that they can’t afford to stumble much from here.
-
Boy, you sure like those Minnesota boys. I would take our guys in the USHL, Blake, Strinden, McGlaughlin, James, Perron, and Spicer above them, and most of them are younger.

We all get frustrated, but the sky is not always falling. My bigger problem is with fans that are always quick to post negatively, but are nowhere to be found on the site after a huge success like this weekend. Is that really a fan?
-
Maybe this was addressed earlier, but why is it that UND always has to initiate a challenge to get a hit to the head or cheap shot reviewed, when it seems like they have many reviews against them initiated by the officials. I have a hard time believing that all the refs missed some of those hits.

It is simply amazing that Berry can win any games when they don’t have any talent. I urge everyone to go back and read the Saturday Western Michigan game thread and commit to not overreacting after every loss.
-
Comebacks in that league are a dime a dozen because nobody focuses on the defensive end but Notre Dame.
-
I imagine it is because Duluth still plays St. Cloud 3 times, so someone won’t get points. I find it amusing that we clinched with 5 games left, when there is a part of our fan base that was certain we wouldn’t have home ice, and that was even just weeks ago after we lost to Western.
-
Duluth knows how to play it close to the vest as well, as evidenced by their many NCAA runs giving up hardly any goals.
-
What do you expect, he looks like a pocket gopher.
