  1. With our luck, it will push him to NDSU.
  2. Oshie with 2 goals and an assist in an OT loss to Edmonton, scoring in the last second to tie it. Brad Malone with a goal and an assist for Edmonton, his first NHL goal since December 3, 2015. That’s perseverance.
  3. or Cam Johnson via Neal Pionk.
  4. Make that 2 goals, 2 assists after 2 periods.
  5. Nick Schmaltz already with 3 more points tonight in the second period.
  6. What happened to all the money from the GOBC?
  7. Surveillance and blackmail! Seriously, I don't know what you can do, other than do exiting interviews and try find out exactly why each person is leaving. Some may not like the coach, and not sure they would say that, but for a lot it might just be winning. If you can somehow turn it around and not be bottom of the barrel, they probably have a better chance to retain some players. Could be a combo of losing and the horrible winter we have had. Heck, it depresses me to no end that there seems no end in sight to winter, and if you grew up elsewhere that combo could be really depressing.
  8. If you're not going to see time in the big show, might as well stay in the best environment and keep working towards your degree. Everyone says UND is like a professional environment, so make use of the facilities, get in more practice time rather than constantly riding a bus, and enjoy being young and in college where you are kind of a big thing on campus, which doesn't hurt with the opposite sex.
  9. Yeah, because a kid that will jump ship in a hurry when things aren't going their way, won't lie to a coach and tell him what they want to hear to get a scholarship when everyone else isn't offering!
  10. If somebody offers, it would most likely be just to get them in their system, which means they would still need to develop. Kleven might be one that Ottawa wants in their system, but with Sanderson going there, making the big club would be very difficult. Frisch, being a free agent is probably the most likely to leave should he get an attractive offer. Moore and Jandric still have a ways to go physically and just experience wise in a top role, but I've seen strange decisions before.
  11. Did that guy play hockey for Central?
  12. I think Vermont would have to release him from his letter of intent, as I believe it is signed.
  13. Speaking of which, I imagine as more seasons are ending that we should start seeing some names entering the portal.
  14. Exactly. Our student section did a chant for a Western player that wasn't even there, how often would Miller, and his teammates have to hear chants week in and week out, never mind the media questions. If the coaches did indeed have misgivings about Morrow, they should feel the same and then some with the Miller situation.
  15. Has Omaha ever made the Frozen Faceoff?
  16. You can bet that any team they meet if they make it to St. Paul will be ready for them. Duluth, Western, St. Cloud and Denver all must feel like they owe us.
  17. Gaber and Frisch, don’t know if Sanderson’s number of games will hurt his chances. I could see both Brink and Savoie getting spots which could hurt Gaber.
  18. Denver sharing the cup could possibly cost us an all league player, as the league winner usually gets the benefit if it is between two players.
  19. Defending Champs UMass on the bubble at 13 in pairwise after getting swept by BC.
  20. Most points in a game since Sam Gagner had 8 points in 2012, according to NHL Network. Also said it was most points in a game in Jets/Coyotes history. Nice feather in his cap. Hopefully Jake can keep the nice Schmaltz weekend going tonight.
  21. That isn’t butts in the seats, it is paid attendance, otherwise Minnesota would be down quite a bit as well.
  22. Won’t argue with you there. I hope they go back to the table at the national meetings and get rid of the 55/45 pairwise thing for overtime wins.
  23. It is universal this year.
  24. Hennessy talked to Mike Schmitt and he said there are about 5 officials that review for a possible suspension and each give their view on whether it is warranted without knowing what the others think. Schmitt said he leans on giving the benefit of the doubt unless it is particularly egregious. In the end though, and here is the kicker, with all the input it is still up to Don Adam and Fenton on whether to suspend, which is why Moore was suspended and Savoie wasn’t even though Savoie’s elbow was up from the start. Good old Don Adam.
