The save Brandt made on Fransisco was absolutely amazing. It was a great play all around and Brandt was just a little better at that moment. Looked to me like Lessard barely got a piece of the GWG and it trickled in. Brandt was in good position and I think if Lessard had got more of the puck it hit him square in the chest. Schmitt (sp?) was quick on the whistle and consistant about it on both ends all night. I didn't see anything wrong with how it was called.

Jan had to write a paper about the ethics of receiving donations. RE made a nice case study.

I couln't pick Jason out of a crowd of one, but I've seen his old man around Mariucci during MN-UND games and if Jason plays one knows John will be there. Nice try though. I'm number 2, just so you know when you're chasing me while I'm on (yet) another breakaway.

All WCHA games except for Friday afternoon are televise on live FSN. YaneA - Is this a free lecture or is there an admission charge?

MN fans should (gasp!) be cheering for UW this weekend as well for PWR reasons.

Since moving to the new Mariucci, MN has not lost a single first round playoff game. I would be surprised if that changed this year. SCSU has a decent chance to upset UMD and DU has a slight chance to upset UND - mainly because they have good goaltending and great open field tacklers. CC - AA couldn't score in a whorehouse MN - MTU may give MN a game, but they don't have the horses and their goaltending is not overly spectacular. MSU-M - As a team, UW is completely baffled. UND - If UND gets it's share of power plays it will be UND at the X on Thursday. And with the way DU plays there should be plenty o' power plays. UMD - Unlesss SCSU plays like it's fan think they can play, they will be at the X on Thursday. But reality will suck for SCSU because they aren't that good...

MN lit it up with Dubbie in nets. He was pulled after two periods of the Saturday night game. Personally, I thought Berkholts (sp?) played far better at Mariucci. Either way, get the yellow flags out for DU - the refs will have plenty of 10 yard holding penalties to deal with.

They also got away with murder on line changes - especially on Friday night. I wasn't sure if MN was still the home team. Gwoz would have 6-7 guys on the ice (usually a line and two sets of d) and depending upon what Lucia sent out DU would pull one set. But the tackling, holding, clutching,.... was an embaressment to hockey. I remember reading Sioux fans complaining about DU's tactics and thinking it couldn't be that bad. I humbly apologize.

One of the regular goalies in our POI games is a UND alum and he has expressed an interest in playing for the Sioux team a few times. Unfortunately, he apparently has equipment issues (needs a new lid) and may not be able to suit up in the near future. He is dbnets on POI and a very good goalie and a great guy.

I should have just stayed out of it.

It comes down to you (& PCM) having differnet philosophies than Hammy. Agree to disagree and be done with it.
