Trust me, nobody is debating how you would have done in D2. My point was that you may not have had a bunch of those kids on your team if you were D2. The NCAA actually has a clearinghouse, etc. that makes things a heck of lot harder when recruiting kids, roster limits, etc.

Before everybody freaks out about this, let's think about it. The 11th game would have to be on Nov. 20th because they have a nice break setup in the middle of Oct. that will work perfect for a Bye week. Since we are in the transition the odds are very good that we are going to have to travel somewhere on that last weekend. The only way it makes sense and makes the game worth it is if we get a Home/Home with that team. If not, whats the point? If BF can come up with a FCS team that will do a Home/Home then I am all for it. If not, stick with our 5 home games we already got and play it out. Plus, our Road Schedule is tougher than hell....Idaho, Northern Illinois, USD, Poly, Montana. WOW, that is a ball buster road schedule. FWIW, South Dakota only played 10 games this year, their season was over 2 weeks earlier than ours.

Two more verbal commitments. RB Jake Miller from Bismarck High and RB Baylee Carr from Hazen have apparently, according to a couple sources out West, both committed to the Sioux! Always good to get some in state talent.

And there is no way any of it could have been achieved without a chant that has "f*ck" in it. This article is very representative of how great an atmosphere they have created over there. My guess is Benjamin, Sutton, and possibly an OL (?). The first two appeared to be hurt during the last game.

UND 27 NWS 17

They were picked 3rd in the Preseason Poll for the Southland conference so I am expecting a tough game. UND needs to get this one, don't want to start out 0-2 and have to back down to Texas again.

I will agree with that, they prefer not to waste valuable airtime showing highlights of a perennial doormat.

UND +46 at Texas Tech NDSU +10.5 at Iowa State Some offshore books have them but they will be hard to find in Vegas.

I believe the team/charter is staying at the Holiday Inn Towers about a mile east of the Stadium. I cannot wait for the game. The atmosphere is going to be something that the players will always remember and the fans will too! I have read that the campus is beautiful and is worth touring. The offshore line came out late on the Friday before the game and it was NDSU -6. The line moved minimallly which said volumes about what they thought was going to happen. You would think people were going to hammer the +6 for a Big 10 team vs. a FCS team but they didn't. Also, it tells you how good they thought the Gophers were that year. The score: NDSU 27-21. Those oddsmakers are kind of smart.
