I never said the Bison couldn't beat the Gophers. I stated that I feel UND could not beat them and also that most Bison fans believe they will win, without a shadow of a doubt.

I understand what they have done, I am familiar with the programs history. But, when NDSU plays them, nobody is thinking they are playing some legendary football team, the only people that have heard of them are mainstream football fans. Especially when they look at there record from last year, which most casual fans will do.

According to Mr. Taylor, playing teams like Georgia Southern (3-8) would create just as much revenue and buzz as playing UND for the first time in 4 years. What a petty response that was. What was the point of this article? All I got out of it was that they have less than $100,000 to work with. If SDSU can keep winning, the Bison will end up playing 3 teams with a winning record. I hope our AD has seen how they scheduled this year and does the same thing when we get going in D1-AA. Schedule teams that are down but were good-decent in the past and have some name recognition, that way the fans get excited when they see the game and even more when the team wins, not knowing the team actually sucks. It would be nice to get a large contribution from donors early on to ease the strain so we don't have to resort to radio ads, like our friends from down south. It is gonna be one crowded town this weekend with the State 'A' Basketball at the Alerus, the Womens Regional at the Betty, and Mens Hockey at the Ralph! I would hate to have to get a hotel!! Here are the matchups for the Boys 'A' - Minot vs. GF Central Williston vs. West Fargo Bismarck vs. South North vs. Century I still can't believe the huge upset Central pulled in knocking out the #1 seed Devils Lake to go to state. Awesome game. Minot is good team but they don't have any stars, I think Central can hang again and maybe be around at the end to pull another upset! Any thoughts on that or the other games?
