Looks like he got a couple misdemeanors, involving weed and booze. I think everyone would agree, especially Bison fans, that he should stay on the team and not miss a game because it was only a misdemeanor. Maybe some extra "punishment" during the summer.

Not saying he didn't have a shot at winning the job eventually but from what I know he is pretty raw overall. His athleticism and running ability were way ahead of any of the other QB's though. He would have been alright if he stuck around but so be it.

Palandech was the fastest but was far from the best passer, arm strength or accuracy wise. Raw in that department. He would have been third on the depth chart come fall camp.

Why did he then change his own offer and make it a one game offer, basically putting that offer in rear-view? I will tell you why he first tried the 2015-2017 (both at NDSU) offer. Because UND absolutely cannot do that in 2017, they would only have four home games and start the season with Utah, USD and NDSU. Right. 2015 One-game deal is the only one that can work right now.

You really think UND Softball is worried about losing games?

UND had an invite for visit from the Summit League, not the MVFC. Hence, the move to the Big Sky.

Dupree hit one shot and a couple free throws, only because Braun fouled out. He didn't play the entire year for a reason.

I see you Richman really capitalized on that Oklahoma win during spring recruiting. His recruits are obviously highly regarded in D2 world.

Did you think they were going to turn it around in 2 months of off-season conditioning? The new staff lost 10+ players (most actually played) and are going to lose/cut more in the next few weeks. I tried to say that the cupboard was bare a few months ago and got ridiculed by somebody. The cupboard is as close to bare as it gets. This thing is going to get worse before it gets better, there aren't any Valpo's on the schedule to get them a win. Last year they beat Valpo, Idaho State, and UNC, the three WORST teams on the schedule. If they get 4 wins next year they will be overachieving and the coaching staff should be commended. It's just the truth. The fact is the previous staff left the roster in shambles from the defensive line to the offensive line to the cornerbacks. There is hardly a position that is solidified with FCS players. End rant.

You realize the offensive is not very good, right? Plus they only have 7-8 of them total. They need better OL across the board.

I don't know Richman, seems like a good guy, but I have to question how quickly they hired him. He has no real coaching experience other than NDSU and his staff is all former NDSU players that have zero experience as well. This hire is very Mussman-like on paper and his staff is very Mussman-like as well. As a UND fan I am all for it. Just seems odd that he was such a "slam dunk" with such an average resume. They would have gotten 10-15 resumes with better credentials than his.

Did you watch the team the past couple years? The coaches watched those same games and obviously deemed it necessary to start from scratch with these guys. From what I have heard, they felt it necessary to even work on "stance" with some players. That is how unsound these kids were in technique, tackling, etc. I am all for it.

Considering his agent and GT both said in the Forum that no school has contacted them, after the WSU and MU openings, I will stick with what I said. He better get one of these jobs because "hot" candidates usually get hired. Is the UW-GB job open?

Speaking of this, can the Fargo media stop pimping Saul for every damn opening that pops up? They are the only one's mentioning his name. First they started with Marquette and Washington State, which he had ZERO chance of getting. Now they have resorted to naming him a candidate for Tulsa and Ohio, which nobody else is saying he has a shot at besides them. Winning the Summit League once every five years doesn't make you a primetime candidate, Calliou. Could he get the Tulsa job, maybe,...yah I suppose. But stop with throwing his name around constantly every time there is an opening. They did this with Bohl too saying he was a candidate for Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska (if opened), etc. He ended up at frickin Wyoming.

I was told that if the LOI was not submitted by April 1st, then players can sign anywhere they want and STILL not be held accountable. The deadline was April 1st for the real signing period that started Feb 5th. After April 1st the player can sign anywhere they want and still reneg on the school and go somewhere else. That is why that date was so big. I am assuming his paperwork was never fully submitted.

I am seeing Southern Mississippi jumped in late and offered Dashon Wade. Looks like the same day he committed to UND. Even though they are pretty bad at football, it is FBS and is going to be tough to overcome that one. Too bad. He is visiting USM on April 11th. At least we know the staff is going after the right players, they all have other offers going on.
