Sioux win 74-57. I got to see parts of the game and saw some good things, but also saw some bad (turn-overs and missed layups). Wish I would have been able to see the whole thing. Wish I would have been able to see it live. For those who are saying the Sioux aren't making progress from last year... The Sioux lost to Mayville by 12 last year and won by 17 this year. Progress. And remember with the exception of MSP, most of the alumni base is west not east. Sioux hockey enjoys a nice crowd while playing in Denver. Sioux football will likely have the same effect in Greeley. A very large alumni base in AZ for the Northern Arizona games. CA, OR and WA all have big alumni numbers. This isn't just about getting the fans from ND and MN to see games in person, the alumni will have access that they never had before with the televised and webcast as well as the live games near them.

I disagree. The Sioux lost this game last year. They need to play it to find out where they are compared to last year. It may also help to get these young guys some confidence. When the Sioux enter the Big Sky, this may be a game to drop. GO SIOUX!!!

Looking at the stats, the Sioux were 1-13 from 3-point land. And looking through the play-by-play, the Sioux missed a lot of layups?? Schuler is one of the young ones that I had hoped would be "the shooter". Hopefully, he'll find his game.

I lost interest in basketball when it ceased to be a non-contact support. The game is less about skill and more about brawn. Remember when the scores in an NBA game were rarely below 100 and 110-115 was the norm? There were 11 NBA games yesterday. 9 teams scored over 100 points. The Lakers beat the Clippers 87-86. The Pistons scored 74 points. That style of play has migrated to college BB. Brawn over skill. No thanks.

A while back I read an article about JLG Architects doing models of all of the UND Buildings for Google Earth. I hadn't had a chance to really look at it until today. JLG did a great job. All of UND's buildings are 3D. You can rotate all around the campus for different views. Very cool.

With the above in mind and the fact that SDSU only had 3918 for the UND game, I'm correcting the title of this thread to "Back on campus to a domed stadium". There was a lot of chatter in the last week about NDSU's attendance for the playoff game. Imagine if that had been played outside. I watched the Saints play the Bengals yesterday in Cincinnati and saw a half-empty stadium shivering. Sure the attendance says 59,000. No way. I'll just have my memories of Memorial drinking schnapps laced hot chocolate.
