The ironic thing is that baseball (a sport that I have advocated dumping) may be the thing that puts UND ahead of some of the other schools for the WAC. The WAC needs baseball playing schools to survive.

But the Montana schools have aspirations of FBS. They would want to be part of the vehicle (WAC) to get them there. I don't think UND would be very keen on the idea of going somewhere without UM/MSU.
It has got to be him. I am not sure why he doesn't post here anymore, but I wish he would, as he does he does have great ideas/knowledge regarding conferences, presidents, athletics...
