  1. There are Bison football fans that are UND hockey fans. Are there UND fans that are bison fans?
  2. Finally got a chance to watch the video. Very nice. Loved the new helmets. Great to see them in kelly green. The video series should be a nice recruiting tool, as well.

  4. http://www.grandforksherald.com/event/article/id/242357/group/homepage/ A federal judge says it appears the political fight over the University of North Dakota's Fighting Sioux nickname is over and has thrown out a lawsuit by six American Indian students at UND. The suit was filed last year after the state Legislature passed a law requiring the school to keep the nickname. The law was later repealed, but retirement of the logo was put on hold when a group of nickname supporters put the issue to a statewide vote.
  5. I think we are going to have to make this one of our stops.
  6. To be a leader, 1 builder has had to sacrifice
  7. Yeah, the wall to wall TVs is what I'm trying to avoid. We plan to hit MOA, but on a weekday.
  8. Nice resource. Thanks.
  9. Thanks guys. Keep the ideas coming. Kids are all under 10, as an FYI on suggestions.
  10. A take off on the where to eat in GF... I'm taking the family north and spending time in both MSP and GF. Does anyone know of some good restaurants in the Bloomington area and east along 494? Looking for family type (kids) restaurants without wall to wall televisions. Somewhere you can actually carry on a conversation across the table without having to shout or lip read. Thanks.
  11. The Hub was the place to go after BB games when I lived in GF. I spent way too much time there. Good memories.
  12. I keep trying to hammer this home to my kids. A friend sent me this video. It needs to be listened to without the kids in the room as their is some foul language in it. The most honest three and a half minutes of television, EVER... - YouTube
  13. Two nice pieces of news this week for the Med School...UND awarded $4.98 million for SIM–ND | 08 | 2012 | News | School of Medicine & Health Sciences | The University of North Dakota NIH awards $5.1 million to UND to continue biomedical research excellence | 08 | 2012 | News | School of Medicine & Health Sciences | The University of North Dakota
  14. Once upon a time, about 5 years ago, PCM had some great Cavalry uniforms posted. I can't seem to find them. Pat, do you still have those??
  15. http://instagram.com/p/N3oBErNcDf/ Man, I miss that place. Can they try and schedule a game a year there, that is until the retractable roof uber stadium is built?
  16. With that I will agree with you.
  17. Pins and needles. Sorry, I had to throw that one at you.
  18. Weren't there some posters from another school that were claiming that USD got their approval months ago and since UND didn't, there must be some problem with UND. From what came out yesterday all of the schools that were moving received thier notice this week, not months ago..... Dan?
  19. Tweet @joshjmorton: Get a look at @AlerusCenter field construction tonight on #UNDSports tv show on @midcosportsnet plus you can check my math at the beginning!
  20. For lack of a better place to put this... http://www.inforum.c...460/group/News/ Maybe I have been living under a rock, but I don't know that I have ever heard the bolded part before.
  21. I guess I was thinking more along the lines with what FSU does in Pensacola... Pensacola Campus - Pensacola Regional Medical School Campus - FSU College of Medicine The real medical school is in Tallahassee and the regional campuses for training are under FSU's umbrella. Didn't Williston used to be UND-Williston? Maybe if they want to train doctors, they should go back to that.
  22. I read the piece, but didn't read it the same way you did. I read it as they wanted to work with UND. Also, I believe the constitution places the medical school at UND. I can't believe the state would support two medical schools. It makes more sense to keep the school at UND and have the students do their residency in Williston.
  23. Among the SiouxSports forum, yes. In the halls of Twamley?
  24. I would love North Dakota Cavalry, but I just don't think that it would get the seal of approval from the ultimate decision makers. If I was the one person that could make the decision for all, I would pick Cavalry. Unfortunately, I am not "the one".
