Rob Port gets somewhat of a negative rap, but the guy does dig deeper into stories than the average ND reporter... Say Anything NDSU Coach Bohl Says Companies Involved In Fraudulent Petitions Are Targeted » Say Anything Through FIA requests he was able get Bresciani and Bohl emails..Open Records Response Bohl is an apologist for guys. Bresciani says nothing about internal requirements within NDSU. The last couple of days is just a smokescreen that Bresciani implemented.

I read where SDSU has a revolving kicker situation. The one who does the best in practice during the week, is the one who plays on Saturday. Could this be an opportunity for a block party? As this week has progressed, I have become more confident in UND's chances. 27-24 UND, with one blocked kick.

Yes. UND Campus reopens following bomb threat CJOB News Team reporting 9/14/2012

UND begins Big Sky play this week playing Montana State tonight and Montana on Saturday. Big Sky play opens Thursday

For those old enough to remember back in the 70's when Livingston State (now West Alabama) came to Grand Forks complaining how it wasn't going to be a fair game due to UND's cold climate advantage and then clobbered the Sioux. Headline the following day in the GF Herald "Snow Job". I don't think most Nodaks knew that northern Alabama can get cold and it snows almost every year.

Maybe we were all confused by Taylor suggested or implied.... Maybe we all took it out of context... Nah... Gene is on the hot seat for his no suspensions comment. I can hear the little voice in Bresciani's head when Taylor said it. It sounded just like Napoleon Dynamite saying "Idiot".

I'm quite certain that Alan Grayson was being racist when he called Republicans Knuckle Dragging Neanderthals.

From the Aztec board... Now if that feed could only be picked up and spread back to ND.

It doesn't look like UND is flying under SDSU's radar. I do like the height advantage that UND's receivers have over the SDSU DBs.

I stayed in a GF hotel a couple of weeks ago and the parking lot looked like it was in Winnipeg. Nice to see the Canadians coming down to the US to spend money.
-
Didn't Taylor say that there would be no suspensions with Bresciani standing beside him? I would say that Taylor had completed his process. Bresciani was feeling the heat and drafted a "cover" document.
-
From the Rivals site it appears he had offers from a lot of schools. Good work by UND to land him.

I agree. It is nice to be able to open Siouxsports at home and not have to worry about kids looking over my shoulder at questionable avatars.

Sounds like someone is planning on attending. Have fun.

Week 2: Potato Bowl 2012 - UND vs. Portland State
GeauxSioux replied to UND-FB-FAN's topic in Football
Didn't mean to bust on anyone, but thanks for taking care of it. Pretty cool that it updates itself. -
Thanks for playing Defend the Delinquients. Sorry we don't have any parting gifts for you.

When used about ethnic groups the term "Aztec" refers to several Nahuatl speaking peoples of central Mexico in the postclassic period of Mesoamerican chronology, especially the ethnic group that had a leading role in establishing the hegemonic empire based at Tenochtitlan, the Mexica. I think the NCAA should be all over these guys about their nickname.

Week 2: Potato Bowl 2012 - UND vs. Portland State
GeauxSioux replied to UND-FB-FAN's topic in Football
Whoever is in charge of the standings on the front page of Siouxsports needs to correct it. UND win over Portland State was a non-conference game. Portland State was brought in as a replacement for Central Arkansas. -

Players of the Week: UND’s Hardin, McNeese State’s Raggett have huge days NORTH DAKOTA 45, PORTLAND STATE 37 BOX SCORE North Dakota started its backup quarterback against Portland State, and all Marcus Hendrickson did was tie the school record by tossing six touchdown passes. Three of those went to wide receiver Greg Hardin who caught only six balls on the day but half of which went for touchdowns. -
Week 2: Potato Bowl 2012 - UND vs. Portland State
GeauxSioux replied to UND-FB-FAN's topic in Football
CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK Marcus Hendrickson, North Dakota, Senior, 6-1, 197, QB, Perham, Minn. In his first career start, Hendrickson, a fifth-year senior, was lights out. He completed 16-of-25 passes for 294 yards and tied a school-record with six touchdown passes in North Dakota's 45-37 victory over Portland State. Hendrickson, who also led UND with 50 yards rushing, made his first collegiate start filling in for the team's injured starting quarterback, Braden Hanson. Five of Hendrickson's six touchdown throws came in the first half, and the offense totaled 401 yards to give UND its second win of the season. -
The HAVE to see list would have to include a tour of the Ralph Engelstad Area, where UND plays hockey. It is one of the nicest hockey arenas (if not the nicest) in the world. Took my kids there a couple of weeks ago and they were just saying wow over and over again.
