  1. From the Aztec board... Now if that feed could only be picked up and spread back to ND.
  2. It doesn't look like UND is flying under SDSU's radar. I do like the height advantage that UND's receivers have over the SDSU DBs.
  3. I stayed in a GF hotel a couple of weeks ago and the parking lot looked like it was in Winnipeg. Nice to see the Canadians coming down to the US to spend money.
  4. Didn't Taylor say that there would be no suspensions with Bresciani standing beside him? I would say that Taylor had completed his process. Bresciani was feeling the heat and drafted a "cover" document.
  5. From the Rivals site it appears he had offers from a lot of schools. Good work by UND to land him.
  6. I agree. It is nice to be able to open Siouxsports at home and not have to worry about kids looking over my shoulder at questionable avatars.
  7. Sounds like someone is planning on attending. Have fun.
  8. Didn't mean to bust on anyone, but thanks for taking care of it. Pretty cool that it updates itself.
  9. Thanks for playing Defend the Delinquients. Sorry we don't have any parting gifts for you.
  10. When used about ethnic groups the term "Aztec" refers to several Nahuatl speaking peoples of central Mexico in the postclassic period of Mesoamerican chronology, especially the ethnic group that had a leading role in establishing the hegemonic empire based at Tenochtitlan, the Mexica. I think the NCAA should be all over these guys about their nickname.
  11. Whoever is in charge of the standings on the front page of Siouxsports needs to correct it. UND win over Portland State was a non-conference game. Portland State was brought in as a replacement for Central Arkansas.
  12. Players of the Week: UND’s Hardin, McNeese State’s Raggett have huge days NORTH DAKOTA 45, PORTLAND STATE 37 BOX SCORE North Dakota started its backup quarterback against Portland State, and all Marcus Hendrickson did was tie the school record by tossing six touchdown passes. Three of those went to wide receiver Greg Hardin who caught only six balls on the day but half of which went for touchdowns.
  13. CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK Marcus Hendrickson, North Dakota, Senior, 6-1, 197, QB, Perham, Minn. In his first career start, Hendrickson, a fifth-year senior, was lights out. He completed 16-of-25 passes for 294 yards and tied a school-record with six touchdown passes in North Dakota's 45-37 victory over Portland State. Hendrickson, who also led UND with 50 yards rushing, made his first collegiate start filling in for the team's injured starting quarterback, Braden Hanson. Five of Hendrickson's six touchdown throws came in the first half, and the offense totaled 401 yards to give UND its second win of the season.
  14. The HAVE to see list would have to include a tour of the Ralph Engelstad Area, where UND plays hockey. It is one of the nicest hockey arenas (if not the nicest) in the world. Took my kids there a couple of weeks ago and they were just saying wow over and over again.
  15. I said it before and I'll say it again, Hendrickson has a gun.
  16. I thought ScottM was just kidding with his LOIC comment, but, man, who is in charge at 'su? Perhaps Taylor should tell the State of North Dakota that it is over and they will leave the delinquents alone. He sounds like a child.
  17. Did I read right that Taylor said that there would be no suspensions? What kind of a message does this send to your players? Go ahead and do what you want, we got your back (as long as you keep winning). Bresciani has no comment? The SBoHE is already under fire from the legislature and there is a new chancellor. Is Bresciani tempting fate?
  18. I'm still curious about the conspiracy aspect of it. I mean it is no coincidence that 12 of the 15 were from the same football team. They got paid to perform a job. They all decided to do their job, violating state law by committing fraud.
  19. Just don't get Watchmaker started on airline deregulation.
  20. Editorial from the Bismarck Tribune...Democracy, citizenship take a hit
  21. Anderson: North Dakotans hurt by fraud | StarTribune.com
  22. Any of you lawyer types know what the laws in North Dakota are regarding conspiracy to commit fraud? Sure they could just say that a "mistake" was made, but to have eight players from a football team doing the same thing begs the question as to who was orchestrating this? Were they all in one place doing this?
