  2. Can them both. I have had enough of this improvement stuff.
  3. Sorry, I don't share your need to stay close to the other Dakota schools. UND chose a different path, one which I am glad they chose. To occasionally play the other Dakota schools is fine, but "need"...no.
  4. Did you get to do the field trip to Winnipeg? That was a blast.
  5. My UND education may not be as good as a Harvard education, since I didn't know that Saskatchewan had a lot of ice flows, fishing boats or seal hunts.
  6. Are there any more schools looking to add Division I hockey in the near term? I know that Star used to mention British Columbia as a possibility. How about the PAC-12 schools?

  10. I am guessing #1. #2 is for the whole University and not just athletics. #3 just isn't going to happen. In my opinion, overall Faison has done a good job. Sure he has made mistakes, but who hasn't.
  11. From SFI... Could it be the long range planning for the monorail between the Alerus and the Ralph?

  13. Neepawa defender stars for Pursuit Kryzaniak honed skills at B.C. prep school "She brings more than what she brings on the ice. As far as her play, I don't think there is a better defenceman her age out there in the world," said Pursuit head coach Scott Spencer. "The awards she's received this year prove that. She was the top defenceman at the world championship, she was top defenceman and the MVP of the Canadian national championship. The leadership she brings off the ice is phenomenal. She is a very mature kid, she's very businesslike, she comes to work. She's a pro."
  14. I ran in there in the 70's and hated it. I remember collapsing at the end of a race, not sure what the length even was and couldn't catch my breath. It was stifling in there. I liked running in the Crookston shed better than indoors at the Fieldhouse.
  15. I'm lurking. Watching here and the cover-it-live. Thanks for the updates.
  16. WOW!! Nice start to the season.

  19. Back on topic... A poster on the WAC board noted that the Horizon will be down to 5 baseball teams when Butler leaves. The Summit will be raided, it is just a matter of how many they take. The admin at UMKC was grilled last week for making a strange move. We will soon see.
  20. The lipstick on a pig actually came from an FU fan a few years back when it was decided not to add a BB venue onto the Fargodome. Seems the FU faithful didn't like that decision. I happen to agree with them. Did you know that up until around 2004 Gonzaga played in a 4,000 seat venue and just recently moved into a 6,000 seat facility? That is from a BB school. The Betty is great for most BB games. If a big crowd is expected, the Ralph is fabulous. More sports allows more student athletes more opportunities. That is a good thing.
