Holy Cross is just clinging to being a TUC.....as long as they stay there and just keep fighting it'll help UND in the pairwise. UND with a great opportunity to end up in the top three in the WCHA. I've got them playing Tech at home right away in the WCHA playoffs.

UND would have swept the season series with DU if not for some goaltender from Finland finding a horse shoe up his rear end the two times he played them.

UND really needs to take a strong look at Jon Lizotte. Talk about a bowling ball physical presence. Give this kid two years of junior hockey.... I've always been a proponent of getting ND kids on the squad. Jon Lizotte definitely fits the mold of a gritty Sioux player.

I have a feeling UND will spend some time in the box this period.

He was one of the best forwards against UNO as far as physicality and playing his role. Has to be something going on.....

Interesting that the fourth line that was amazing against UNO has been split up. Just the General left.

Heartbreaking loss for the UND women. That'll be a killer in the pairwise as well. Need to sweep Mankato out of the Ralph next weekend, beat Wisconsin at the league tournament, then find some way to give Minnesota their first loss. Not impossible. But a long ways to go.

These students need to issue an apology as well as Red River high school, and Grand Forks public schools. This has unfortunately cast a bit of a shadow over the state tournament. They are talking about it on the broadcast now. Just makes you sick.

Okay, back to hockey. Boys 5th place: Minot 5-Fargo North 3 Boys 3rd place: Bismarck Century 2-Davies 1 Not a bad showing for the west. Bismarck high was 18 seconds away from knocking off GPR, and if they do a western team is in the final. Still a ways to go though. As an alum of Minot it may just take a miracle to win a first round game.....I'm not sure what the answer is.
