Wow, how did UND get Hardin? Talk about a tremendous athlete. Unreal talent.

I would take an 0-11 team with a head coach that actually got in players faces and had a team that played with a speck of emotion. This is absolute garbage. Don't call it being undertalented. This is an extremely poor coached football team.

When I coached our school had a policy on head injuries. If a player had done what the BU kid did he wouldn't have been allowed back on the ice for the rest of the game because of an obvious head injury. He'd have to pass a concussion test first (done on a computer). Doesn't matter if he had embellished the incident or whatever. The NCAA needs to get a policy so things like this don't happen. At least have the kid sit out the rest of the period so crap like this doesn't happen.

Maybe a penalty for leaving his feet, but no way a five minute major. If you skate into the zone, and continue to play hockey after the whistle blows and fire a shot you probably better be ready to take a hit. I'm glad my son doesn't understand hockey yet. That was embarrassing for the sport. Reminds me of Brian Gionta acting dead years ago against Michigan State in the NCAA tournament, then hopping up when the Spartan player got a five and BC won in OT. Ohh....and Gionta was on the ice for the game winning goal....no kidding.

I agree with what someone posted. Tomorrow night is the real test. Too many times early in the season North Dakota wins on Friday night only to get stung on Saturday. They've got to be crisp and ready to go tomorrow night and sweep BU out of the rink. You talk about a tenacious playoff type atmosphere at the rink. I wasn't at the game, but could feel it from my living room. Gothberg gets the nod tomorrow night, and hopefully gets the job done.

Thoughts: ~When this group gets rolling and puts shifts together in succession they are fun to watch. ~Saunders was very good in the net. Made some big saves, but was very solid all night. ~Some poor defensive decisions. I love Gleason.....but why in hell is he rushing the puck with under 3 minutes left? ~Big Andy McWilliam might kill himself a Finn tomorrow.

I wish that official would let Pattyn go with that guy.....just once....Pattyn has some Zach Jones in him.
