Jeez, some of these kids can shoot the puck. Wow. Nothing these goalies can do about some of these.

Nice job ladies. Waiting for the stats to come from this one. But nice job. Beat Minnesota, make the tournament......win and in.
-
Okay, this one is pretty well over. So what seed does UND get?
-
Guess I jumped the gun a bit....comeback in the works?
-
Southern Utah beat UND.....who beat NDSU.....who beat Notre Dame.....who beat Duke....who beat Syracuse. Yikes. What seed does this give UND for the tournament?
-
Ufff....then with less than four seconds to go the Duluth East player just rings the puck to nobody in particular giving Eagan a chance, which they score on. 1-0 Eagan going to the third.
-
Both of these teams are just tremendous defensively. By garsh......getting the puck to the net in a quality scoring area isn't going to be easy in this one. Even the last play. Two on one for Eagan and the Duluth player gets back to take away a chance while taking a penalty.

Whoops....and we've got a fan giving the reff the bird.....

The what?

I hope Lakeville wins. But I think EP edges them late or in OT. Every time I watch teams play Edina its like they play scared. Go out, move your feet, hit them, don't be awestruck. Edina does do a good job of making teams look bad though.
-
Nanne and Thorne.....the way it should be...
-
Which leads me to believe UND would beat the Hitmen......
-
Eden Praire and Edina will play in the state championship. Cakeater Classic? Or is that taken?
-
I think Coltyn could go the way of the Jimmer.
-
Jefferson talking about dissolving their program after that one? Ps: you ever read the book "Blades of Glory"? Great book.
-
Two private schools going at it now. Only two left in class A. So this is the championship game for best private school in the lower division.
-
Glad to see EGF get that three goal lead back. Now they can just get the puck deep and pound on Orono.
-
Anybody know if Midco is showing these games on some hidden channel? I think I remember watching it last year, but can't remember where they showed it. Will never forget the Hermantown coach going NUCLEAR on the officials after his team got jobbed against STA.

You'd think if you were the illegal player you would perhaps fly under the radar, and not make too much of an impact. Instead you nearly beat the number one team in the state by yourself......wonder if anyone will notice. -
Not sure if the post above is prior to our conversation.....But a recap of my group. Five Total: 2 XXL 2 XL 1 L

I heard they beat Minot 5-3 (illegal player scored all five goals). Then played the number one team and eventual state champions and only lost 6-5 (illegal player scored four goals). This created a stir and eventually Fargo got dq'd. Sad day when that crap happens. Kid played at Davies, and is actually listed on their roster on ndhighschoolhockey.com -
I don't think any of the Yale fans had Yale in that regional. I'd personally like UND to get into a tough regional. SCSU probably had the toughest draw out of all the WCHA teams last year, and earned their way to the frozen four having to play good hockey against pretty good teams. I'd love a UND-Minnesota matchup in St. Paul. Although the way the seedings are playing out I'm guessing St. Cloud is a 2 at that regional and Minnesota is a 1.

As a utility guy for St. Louis, with 120 less plate appearances than his lowest year with the Twins. Never ever faulted his effort. But his at bats after his career year in 2006 when he touched .290 just got worse and worse. I'm actually glad that he got himself a world series ring, because his effort deserved one. And as long as I'm glad for him I'll be glad for Doug Mientkiewicz and David Ortiz for winning world series titles post twins too. Twins win twice today! Now 4-1 on the young doesn't count season!
