This is where I'm in the fire the coach crowd. Gardy is awful. Guy simply cannot manage against the quality teams and he has proved it over and over against the New York Yankees and other clubs. I'm not sure how he let Alexi Casilla and Nick Punto get naked pictures of him, but he did, and I'm glad the Twins found a way to get rid of them so Gardy didn't have to play them and bat them second in the lineup. Get a new guy in there with some energy and fire, and for the love of Carl Pohlad try something different. Last place, 90 plus losses on the horizon again.

Recruiting is bad in Minnesota. I think what ticks public school backers off is the fact that private schools can openly recruit whatever player they'd like no circumstances attached. And what ticks private school backers off is being called the only recruiters in a very corrupt system. I'd personally like to see a private school section in AA hockey. Imagine that section tournament...... Never happen though.....

I thought the EGF goaltender was the story of the game. Made some tough stops on some quality Warroad opportunities. This is the first time I got to watch EGF play. All you hear about them is about how tremendous of a defensive team they are, but they struggled in their own end a bit. Of course a lot of that was due to who they were playing. Fun game to watch. Glad it was streamed on wdaz.

And the hockey gods hold true..... Whatever team hits the crossbar in OT will lose the game. Congrats to EGF on their trip to St. Paul!

I can't believe all the names you are hearing in this game.....Palmiscno....Eades....Poolman....Bowen.....Nelson.....Ausmus...... Been a pretty good hockey game. Two bounces....two goals. Anyones game in the third period.

I think with new high schools popping up you'll see some parity just about everywhere but Grand Forks. Minot getting a new high school is in the works, and I'm not sure when the new Bismarck one opens up. If those two both have hockey then you are splitting Minot, and you are taking a chunk out of BHS and Century. Any Fargo people know if West Fargo's new school will have hockey?

I've followed some the youth levels and to see what those bantam teams are doing from Grand Forks is scary. Back when I played there was a North and a South Grand Forks in the youth levels. Guess I'm not sure why they got away from that? They played with the same group from 6th grade on up through high school. I guess the only time North and South kids played together was Stallions if they didn't make their respective high school teams. In Fargo are they splitting up Davies and South kids on Bantam teams? How about the angels? Anybody got an idea if there is hope for a Shanley high school team again?
