  1. I'd personally like it if the pep band played more during the breaks. I know they need a break once in a while because with period breaks and everything they're basically playing for three consecutive hours. It would eliminate some of those crappy songs that they fill the time between faceoffs.
  2. My favorite part was Harrington completely gave up afterwards. He could have easily taken a penalty at the end to prevent Spirko from scoring the goal. He just watches Rusty put it home. Without looking can you remember who got the game winning goal that game?
  3. Let the players decide. If they vote to keep it around, let it stay. If they want to change it up, change it up. As long as they don't take away my precious beer song......ever.....
  4. As long as we're going down memory lane with Rusty.....
  5. Hahahahaha.....made my morning. I really needed that.
  6. Don't you mean 200? I know 200 connects 85 to 22. Unless the natives of the area consider 200 22 in that spot.
  7. You heard it here first, the freshman takes the reigns and is the go to guy at the end of the season. (*Note: Poster usually wrong)
  8. It wouldn't have saved UND in the semis, but I'd like to see the NCAA championship turned into a best of three series.
  9. All the Duluth fans would hold us accountable for the 2011 if we say that though..... UMD fans 2011: "Come on Michigan, come on Michigan, come on Michigan...." UND fans 1997: "Come on BU, come on BU, come on BU...." UND 2011 vs. Michigan 1997......The best team doesn't always win....
  10. You can drop mine by my house personally whenever you make your way back to way western Nodak!
  11. To this day I wonder who wins in 1997 between UND and Michigan. UND clearly a better team than BU all three times they met that season, but I wonder what that Sunday in Wisconsin would have brought for the Sioux playing the #1 team in the country.
  12. Rocco plays the roll of Dave Hoogsteen, and a Freshman Canadien goaltender takes the reigns from the incumbent starters and leads a team picked by many to finish in the middle of the league to the promised land. History could repeat itself. But who will play the role of Brendan Morrison?
  13. I'm ready for bandwagon jumpers to go nuts when Thompson and Ausmus make some rookie mistakes, and the team can't produce offensively right away. I had a good conversation with a buddy the other day about the team two years ago captained by Mario. How blessed were we as Sioux fans that that group was able to make the NCAA tournament and put together a run like they did with three lines. Funny how you don't know what you have until it isn't there anymore. Anxious to see the identity of the 2013-2014 group.
  14. Nice to see a full bench of guys skating in July.
  15. Very true. Reminds me of Nick Punto on the Minnesota Twins. Like why did Gardenhire give hime a million chances to be an every day guy. OD needs to get it figured out because I think the coaching staff had very high hopes for him last season (as well as a lot of us sideline reporters). He has the ability to be a first or second line guy, but the way he produced last year he may not even crack the lineup come opening night. Not sure what to say about Mitch/Mark. Mark>Mitch in just about all facets minus shooting the puck. I don't think they can keep Mark off the first or second line, and Mitch likely isn't a top six guy.

I was wondering why I had seventeen guns pointed at me while I was re-caulking parts of my roof. And to think I thought they were spotting me.

I'll need another Hoggsbreath shirt.....I've already worn it out. I'll un-report you to the moderators now that we've got it all settled.
  18. Very worried about that too. I think a fourth unit with Pattyn, Rodwell and Gaarder would be dynamite. Guys with experience and some grit to go with it. Wouldn't be afraid to have that unit go against any line of any teams the Sioux play this year.

I still give him $hit about the Sacred Heart comment. He taught me everything I know about the history of UND hockey, from the Bjorkman years to Gino and Hrkac Circus....etc. He travels a lot with his business and I'm glad I can get him to Minneapolis for a couple of days to get him away from the grind that is his life. Now its kind of me keeping him up to date with whats going on with UND hockey. When the regional tournament tickets went on sale at the Ralph that year he called within like two minutes of it opening up to get us prime seats for watching the Sioux get to the frozen four. Like he said, nobody had a better view of the game winning goal than we did. Well, other than Kellen Briggs.....

I'm all for banning Mafiaman, you don't turn down a free beer at a hockey game. If that won't get you banned, nothing should.
  21. No no no.....I said I don't post on other fan sites. Big difference is taking the time to set up a user name and password, and also taking the time to set up a tagline to bash a poster on that said fan site. I apologize for clicking on the link and reading all the grammatical stuff that you like to rip on Goon for. But I'm the one who doesn't have a life. Ohh....and its okay to start a sentence with a conjunction. Just saying...
  22. What? You're an NDSU fan who comes to a UND fan site? And has the audacity to tell people they have no lives for posting on their favorite team's fan site? What? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and pretend you weren't trying to cover up the embarrassment to NDSU that is lakes.
  23. I can't believe some of the posts.....Its amazes me that grammar nazi himself jheria doesn't go there and set his fellow fans straight like he does on this site.
  24. That can't go in in the Stanley Cup Finals. The bruins got a bit of a gift there.
