Ohh, don't like his managing, but congrats to Gardy on win 1,000. Remembered watching his first one against Kansas City thanks to Jacque Jones, and Buck Buchannon. Game was started by Brad Radke, and was the coming out party for JC Romero in the bullpen. Heres hoping he'll get to 2,000 a bit quicker. I've come to terms with the fact that he'll never be fired.

Wait a second.....how is Saul going to drive four students at a time in his jeep to Scheels arena when he is in Ohio....?
-
What goalie in a college career has the same number of losses as total shutouts? That guy.....that guy......
-
I think Hellebuycke is the real deal. Watched some film on him and it's just amazing how calm he is making tough saves. I'm surprised Faragher got a deal. But congrats to him.

2-3 after today. Gibson not bad. I wish a twins starting pitcher could make the 7th inning.... Nolasco tomorrow......a five hundred road trip would bel cool.....

Ohh come on.....Ohio Sta.....nope.....Michigan Sta......nope....Well Penn Sta.... I'm beginning to see why if I was a gopher fan I'd enjoy being in the Big Ten. You are going to win the conference championship every year, and SHOULD win the tournament every year. If they have a bad year in non conference all they have to do is win two games to make the NCAA tournament. And every other year you get to play that conference tournament in your back yard, when logistically the tournament should be at Joe Louis Arena every year. Bucky is going to be building from scratch. I guess Rumpel is back (as of 4/5/14), but I don't see anybody for Wisconsin trying to forecheck next season. See if you can play to 0-0 ties before winning the shootout.

Looking at the matchup on paper, Minnesota is the healthy choice. Good goaltending, good puck moving defenseman, and four lines deep with some gritty players like Serratore to add to the fold. They don't take a ton of penalties, but can match teams when they try to out hit them. Its why I picked Minnesota to win the national championship and I'm sticking with my pick. I'm also picking continued arrogance, regardless of how they do.

Twins now 1-3 after their latest starting pitcher started to blow up around the 6th inning. But back it today in Cleveland with Gibson on the mound. Up 3-0.....when will it fall apart?

I wish I hashtagged at the end of my posts. I'd hope to read more of his stuff, but I'm not sure when his shift at Jimmy John's ends.....

I for one am happy that Faragher is gone. Played some of his best hockey against UND for whatever reason. I thought for sure he'd be around for another season. I don't see him making the NHL.....unless he can play every game like he's at Ralph Engelstad arena.

It's a snappy tv thing. Google snappy tv, plus gophers-fighting sioux-final five. Should get all the goal highlights from both teams.

I know for one that my weekend was completely ruined by Minnesota winning their regional....ufffff.....

Just watched the "Through these doors". Awesome to see the celebration after the Ferris game. Like they couldn't believe that with all the ups and downs they were half way to the top of the mountain. I wish they would have played everything that Hak said to them afterwards, but I'm sure not all of it was PG. Loved the fist pump or whatever he was doing that got the whole team going.

Minnesota Wild get a big point, and in the middle of a shootout right now with Chicago. Can't believe that Bryzgalov has been this good of a goaltender for Minnesota. Pominville with a chance to keep it going......nope. Well the Wild are about as good as the Blackhawks when they don't have Toews or Kane. Magic number of points to make the playoffs before losing in the first round is 6.

Come on.....the official website of the Minnesota Twins says that Hughes was SOLID on the mound today!!!!!! When Correia, or however you spell it is the team's best chance every five days, you've got issues. Perkins better not blow save opportunities, because he won't get many this year.

Never got to see the Sioux much as a young kid, but about the start of the Dean Blais run is when it just took off for me. The Sioux were rarely on TV in Minot so I'd listen to them play on the radio, or check the paper in the morning to see how they did. Of course the national championship year of 96-97 just added to it. Thats the first year that I can remember following every game in some way shape or form. Since then I've just known I was going to follow this team till death do us part.

Short passes.....speed through the neutral zone......good spacing coming out of your end.... Ohh....and dumping the puck.
-
1-2.....At least they won today....at least they won...... The hunt for one hundred takes a day off.

You might be a gopher fan if..... 44. Grammer's tuff 4 u.

Cool....although someone should let him know the Spirko goal was the third place game at the final five that year.

Hey, the Wild have won two in a row on the road. Have a tough schedule to finish it out, but their last three games are at home. Thursday they're at Chicago with Chicago minus their two best forwards. Should be a game Minnesota finds a way to win.

One of the most intriguing things to me about the end of the season is hearing about all of the injuries that we as fans didn't hear about. Like Prpich playing with a dislocated shoulder, Oshie playing with a broken thumb, Matt Greene not practicing, only playing games. If that doesn't make you respect what these kids are doing, and the long grind nothing will. I'm anxious to hear about Parks, Mac, I think OD is dinged up a bit.....and Zane's injury as well.

Should have cut Rizzo from the start. But Herbie knew....

Looking at the IPF website, doesn't seem like they can play softball games in there. Although they could definitely practice. I love the sport of baseball, and don't mind softball, but the climate just doesn't make it sensible. The University of Minnesota is really missing the metrodome. They got an upgrade with the field turf at their new/upgraded old field, but a lot of those early games they had at home, like the Dairy queen classic can't happen this year. They played their first 20 games on the road this year. They were able to play some games at home last week, but only because they could clear off the field turf. (not possible in the outfield at Kraft, because you would tear up the grass) UND has already moved home games, and had to cancel one tomorrow against Crookston. They now head back south again to play in Nebraska before possibly hosting a home series. So 20 something games on the road before playing at home (fingers crossed). If the weather magically goes according to plan, they'll get to play 12 home games this year at Kraft field. They'll likely end up playing around 46 games this year, and only 12 of those will happen at home. I'm not a genius whatsoever when it comes to sports management, but I'm guessing that the baseball group has to be doing some fundraising or getting some donations, because dollars wise, they're always traveling which isn't cheap. Love baseball to death, but would love to see an expenditure report. At the same time, if a rich alumnus is out there bankrolling the whole thing, I'll go away......

0-1. You can tell how little confidence that Gardy has in Kubel when he didn't pinch hit with him at all in the later innings when the situation probably called for it. Nolasco reminds me of Blackburn......But at least Kurt Suzuki has already tied a career high for RBI's!
