  1. 51 the o/u right now. Didn't look at the weather forecast just yet, but that seems a tad high for Utah in November.
  2. 1. That's probably the biggest key to winning the game. 2. Those kids are going to have to play better than they did against Montana State. Davis gets some space and he's gone. 3. Weber very good at protecting the football. I don't think we will, but this group always seems to surprise people.
  3. If I had it my way (LOL) Jake would replace Ole on the radio and travel with Tim on the road. If you've ever met Jake he is a high energy small town kid. The Jake you see on TV is the Jake you get in life. Somebody already said it, but listen to the clowns that other broadcasts roll out and it's not even close. The guy in Denver is a tool, and whoever Duluth rolls out always.....always....has an issue with the officials....all game.....long. Watch a SCSU broadcast and tell me you'd rather have Mark Parrish than Jake.....
  4. Weber's top RB Davis ran for 177 yards with an average of 7 yards a pop. Pretty balanced with team also passing for 177 yards on only 22 attempts. QB on average completes around 65 percent of his passes. Has only passed over 200 yards one time this year against Davis. November game in Utah, I'm betting they'll stay true to form and run at our depleted defensive front.
  5. Weber defense only had ten guys on the field and they still stopped Sac St. on a 4th and short. Then they score a short time later and its 36-10 Weber. Sac State QB got hurt earlier in the game, but Weber's o line has done a good job for their shifty RB and the QB on bootlegs. Glad our team is coming off a bye week. Healthy bodies and a great game plan is needed in Utah Saturday.
  6. Watching some of Weber vs. Sac State. That Weber defense is tough. Kett may need to play the best game of his career. Sac with some success with misdirection like we like to run with Boltman and company, but the Weber defense always flies to the football.
  7. That Tech team battled. Not our best game, but whether you win by a goal or ten they only give you one win. No Pooly or Bast tonight, still only gave up 15 shots. Scheel very solid. Just a rock in there. I'll be making my first appearance at the Ralph next weekend since baby #3 ruined my social life even more than it already was. #ferdawilbur
  8. Hain....get it out.....you want a suit again?
  9. Dominic Tonanato is the only guy allowed to get physically restrained by a linesman and not get a penalty. Someone let Pinto know.
  10. Boy, our goaltending has been good the past few games. Scheel really playing well.
  11. Gooch scores. Hockey God Karma for not laying on the ice after that hit. 2-1 UND.
  12. Now if Gooch lays on the ice and rolls around holding his head it's a five.
  13. I don't even think that's a penalty....from my living room.
  14. Mismash's stick.....where power plays go to die.....
  15. UNC beats ISU in Idaho......uffffffff. Do we want Weber to win tonight? I'll say yes.
  16. 1-1 after 1. Scheel sharp at the end of the period there or we are probably trailing. Hain looks like he didn't sitting last Saturday. #fearthesuit
  17. Ohh dear. Mismash had Pinto wide open weakside on the power play there and shoots it instead into the defenseman.....
  18. Tie game. Small goalie for Tech, reminds me of Lerg years ago.
  19. Same BU team that beat Goldy in St. Paul in the semifinals. How does a Jack Parker team lose 9-1 in the Natty? Clear boards???
  20. Has it been that long since Lake State was relevant? My favorite Jeff Jackson memory was his team being down a few goals at Munn in a regional against Red and some Wolverines and his team coming back and winning the game. They were the four seed and it was back when there was only 12 teams in the tournament so Michigan was rested and ready to roll after Lake State played an OT game the day before. Then they killed BU 9-1 for the natty.....god that man can coach. *Just did more research and wikipedia claims they won their first three games of that tournament in OT......wow.
  21. Goldy and Notre Dame has been a good one. Morris has been at Notre Dame forever it seems. Then again how many years has Jeff Jackson been around? Wow.
  22. Gotta sweep!!!! 5-1 good guys. Pinto, Bowen, Caufield, Gooch, Poolman.

    2019 Season

I noticed that this week. Great for them!!!!
  24. Looks like a low scoring game to me. If we can stuff the run like we did against the Cats we have a good chance. Our linebacker play was phenomenal last week. Donnell was a great leader and I expect another big game from him. Moving the ball will be a struggle. Rushing yards tough to come by, maybe see a bit more of game planning having Boltman in the backfield to bring the safeties down and pop something downfield like last week. Get a good week in the treatment room and the film room. Hopefully Sac St. pounds on them a bit too.

    2019 Season

When I was coaching hockey we shot the pooch in our planning and showed up to the rink 45 minutes before warmups started. Kids were on the bus for three hours and then half an hour later they were in their skates. We were flat from the get go and lost to a team we run timed earlier in the season at home. I coached a number of sports while I was teaching, hundreds of games, and it was the only time I apologized to the team after a game because I didn't give them the opportunity to perform at their best level that day. I'm not saying that is the reason our kids lost to Idaho State. Give the Bengals credit for being excited to perform on their homecoming day and playing well. The bleeds green Sioux fan (Grandpa, Dad, Uncles, numerous cousins alumni) just wishes our team had more time to adjust to that elevation change. Nuff said, let's get healthy and beat Weber!
