I'd probably leave social media alone after my team lost at home to a team without 4 regulars and the league already wrapped up. Now the narrative trending amongst them is why they have to play us so much and we get away with running goalies.

First all GF final since 2005? Seems like there have been more than that. Every year you pencil one of them in the championship game. I'd bet a Grand Forks school has played in 95% of the state championship games. Probably more.

Yes. It was definitely the reffs that won that game for UND. No way we can stay with that group of hockey talent without the officials giving us everything and earning nothing. We had way more powerplays than they did obviously, and they were missing 3 seniors and a super soph. (Checks Twitter)

Seems to me like Girl's basketball is more popular in Grand Forks than hockey. All my cousins from GF went to Red River, and while the boys all played hockey, the girls were all basketball players. I'd be interested to see the split of Central girls vs. Red River girls on the team. When I was at UND and did some student teaching at Central High School all they could talk about was the lack of numbers they had for all girl sports, and the trend was getting worse. However, that was 15 plus years ago....
