First period was easily our best period of the new year, and then we were just jumbled killing penalties and not getting any kind of rhythm the second or third period. Probably a good thing for Denver, because the guys in black were absolutely flying to start the game.

I think we've both at least three or four times picked a guy that's scored in the next game.

I think it was the 2017 season Neal Pionk flattened Cam Johnson on a charging penalty in the NCHC championship and stayed in the game. Watch the Mismash hit and the Pionk hit and tell me which guy deserved to get tossed.

Wondering if Thome gets the game tonight based on his showing in the third period. Last night in no way shape or form was on Scheel, but wouldn't surprise me if Thome gets the game tonight and maybe there is a renewed sense of urgency from our guys.

Haven't followed up on the US NDTP 17 year old team much since earlier in the year, but it looks at though Cole Spicer may be struggling a bit. Not sure if there is an injury there or something, but he hasn't scored a goal since October. In fact, if the stats are correct the assist he got on Saturday against Youngstown was his first since October. Alright in the know GF residents. What's going on in Michigan?
