Team loves the guy. -Defended pretty well the last little bit. -Greasy hard road win. This is how they'll have to play to win games this year.

I like Jandric but its going to be a bit of a curve for him. I think Johnson has Peski written all over him. Struggle, but turn into a really solid guy when things slow down and he figures out you can't just ring the wall in the college game and expect your wing to make the play on the wall. Playing a big, physical, well coached team like the Q will give our guys plenty of film to look at.

What do you think of putting him and Kleven together?

I'm a bit baffled that we have been as poor defensively as we have been. Pretty decent top four that a lot of teams would like to have. Our d zone at times.....ufff. Great time to give the Swede a start in the net. Ja???? Ja???

Quinnipiac isn't exactly bishop Sycamore. They've got some good hockey players, and they're well coached. Anybody that expected this team to skate through a top ten team with ease on the road may need to reconsider expectations for this group. Get home ice in the NCHC, make the tournament, see what happens. Yup, below what the bar is for this program, but sometimes you gotta play with the hand you've been given.

Suspect officiating out East? Say it ain't so....

He got into it with the Cornell head coach a few years back when he called a kid out that got railroaded from behind for faking an injury. Same kid suffered a broken neck the year before and there was almost a post game rumble in the hand shake line. Guy just doesn't make friends anywhere. He was unhappy after the natty for UND playing a physical brand of hockey. Sam Anos was playing hurt and UND just threw the kitchen sink at the kid. He should not have been playing.

Whats the money line on UND getting the first penalty Friday night? This is a great scenario for UND to go into early in the season. A tough road environment where there will be plenty of adversity. I think Friday night they have a tough time figuring out what is and isn't allowed in the ECAC, and Saturday they figure it out. Friday: The Q 4. The U 2 Saturday: The U 3 . The Q 2 Book it.

Bemidji was one game away from the F4 last year and returned a lot of players. Precedent in the program is win every game, but they started terribly both nights and found a way to win on the road and get it to OT after using their timeout within the first four shifts Saturday. Some questionable decisions with the puck that lead directly to goals. Clean it up and get some guys healthy and they'll be alright. Good road test approaches, I'm looking forward to it.
