Scottie was huge today. I kind of penciled that in as a loss, but he had Rahm on the ropes from the first hole. Future bright for the USA. Hopefully Spieth can keep getting closer to his former self.
-
Rory has been impressive today. Not Xander's best today but he is the future with Morikawa.
-
With gray hair, impressive.
-
Scotty on a different planet right now against Rahm.
-
I'm so thankful that the super Ian Poulter didn't show up again at a Ryder Cup. The Americans practically picked a course he couldn't play well at. Rahm will be a headache for the next 10 Ryder cups now. I'm guessing unless he qualifies Rory's days on team Europe are soon over.
-
Yup. Europe has to win 9 singles matches now. Godspeed to Scotty Scheffler getting Rahm tomorrow, Rahm has been the only one keeping Europe afloat. Match of the day might be Bryson and Sergio. Those two are all over the place.
-
Looks to be 11-5 going into tomorrow if Bryson and Scotty don't blow up here with two to go. MVP of the European team is Rahm, MVP of Team USA is Rory for sure.
-
6-2 after Friday. And lucky for Europe that Hatton was super clutch on the 18th. 20 possible points left. The US needs 8.5 and Europe needs 12.
-
Currently 3-1 USA with two matches in the bag and two in a bit of doubt. Bryson and Scotty battling Rahm tooth and nail, and JT and Cantlay two down. Figure out a way to get at least 1 point out of those final two matches and go up 6-2 into Saturday's morning session would be huge. A session split isn't the end of the world, but leave no doubt out there who is the better team.
-
Couldn't agree more. I'd stick him with Morikawa. Fairways and greens from Collin, and Bryson you just lump it up and hit it as hard as you can off the tee if Collin is in the fairway.
-
Ryder Cup. Love it. But please don't let Bryson play alternate shot.....

At this point I feel sorry for the guy. A grown man going to message boards of our opponents (weekly?) and making profiles. I feel as if I need to light a candle at church for him, like its past the point of him just being an idiot.
-
Never forget Northern Alabama ala 2003. The athletes that team had on offense, and they just couldn't get through the noise until it was too late.
-
I don't care what people say, that Utah State team has some dudes on offense. The entire second half our defense kept taking punches from them with our offense doing nothing. Eventually you can only take on so much water before the boat goes down. We've done little recently to put any pressure on NDSU QB's of recent like Wentz, Lance, and Miller/can't remember other guy last season. If the defense and the crowd can get into the mind of Patterson just a bit we've got a great chance.

Initially, then my mother found out.....LA here we come..... Nice part is that people apparently get married at 10 AM in the morning in California, so by the time we get to game time me and my old man should be able to get a stream somehow.

The Bison will have never beaten the Sioux in the Alerus. I'll take it. Then again the Hawks are ofer in Fargo.
-
Been looking forward to this game for years. I was a student the last time NDSU snapped a ball in a game at the Alerus, and one Digger Anderson walked that game off in huge fashion after a great Bison comeback. My brother was in the Gold Star band. My dad and I cheering for the Sioux, my mom and bro the Ag school. I miss those days when it seemed like the game meant so much more. Coincidentally that same brother is getting married on game day in LA....sigh.... Nonetheless its time to put up or shut up for our boys from UND. They're finally at our place. Game on.

I'm a huge Notre Dame fan as well and I can't stand when they go outside the norm with the Shamrock Series etc. Just wear the golden dome and leave the cute stuff for Oregon.
-
And I'm one lottery ticket short of being a millionaire.
-
Top 10 operation.
-
I get your point, but last week would have been a 58 yard field goal to try and win it.
-
Alright. 0-4 a real possibility. Russell Wilson next...scary.... Then the Browns..... The first 0-4 team to win the superbowl.
-
We got the High School part right....
-
You know, Minot was one of the first to follow Grand Forks with the AA bantam team. Since then, a lot of those Bantam players started to leave right after for the AAA ranks. Colorado, Notre Dame, Shattuck, Phoenix Jr. Coyotes, etc. Can't speak to whether the parents like Bennett and Grubb. My guess is that some of them took the competition/# of games aspect into account when deciding high school hockey wasn't for them.

It would be interesting to see some numbers of kids that left vs. other programs. I can think of at least 7 kids....scary.
