I have heard that the Music Therapy program has been suspended indefinitely, which is unfortunate. One would think they would look to cut music performance before music therapy. In the business I work with, we utilize music therapists to work with people who have dementia. Music Therapy has huge potential to make a difference for people with dementia as a non-pharmacological intervention. Not really sure what types of jobs people with a music performance degree can get...I suppose music teachers?

I had heard the band was being cut also. Had heard about it Friday afternoon, same time I heard that they are trying to cut the music therapy department. Agree that it would be bad to cut the Pride of the North.

How about having the football team come over to the students and sing the school song? I'd rather they do that then give the high five to fans. Or better yet, sing the school song then do the high five line.

Although I agree with this to a point, ideas shouldn't have to come from fans. Do you think NDSU administrators waited until fans asked to have their spring game televised or did they do it on their own? UND has people working for them that should know some of this, that's why they are on the payroll. It shouldn't be a "wait until they ask for it" type of attitude. They do heck of a job marketing other aspects of the university. Put a little more emphasis into the athletic programs. And yes, I know that athletics is a small part of the mission of the University. But Athletics has a huge potential for recruiting students and raising the profile of a university.

He doesn't address the question of not having coaches, officials, etc.

The website has a UND football logo on it. Not good publicity. I'm surprised the Alerus or the GF media wasn't publicizing it...just seems like a weird deal all around.

This is correct. As is the rest. I've had the opportunity to work with Adam a few times, and no I'm not an artist, nor do I pretend to understand art. I do like some of his work and other projects, I question if it truly is art. Ultimately, Art is up individual interpretation.

Too easy...if the Big Ten asks you to join them in anything, your answer is yes. Conference affiliation is much more than athletics. IF UND were ever offered B1G affiliation for hockey, we'd be crazy to say no. Even from the hockey standpoint, we'd gain UMinn and UW back as big rivals. Could still play Non-conference games against the Minnesota schools, Denver's etc.

I would say the Denver DL had something to do with that. I've never seen him hit/sacked/rushed as much as Denver did yesterday. It was a good defensive game on both sides of the ball.
