Oh, there will be alcohol considering Brick and Barley is co-hosting and listed as the “adult beverage vendor” for the concert. I would also think many students will venture home for the three day weekend. Those that stay, may tailgate and then head to Johnny Holmes at University. Hope I’m wrong though...

This definitely needs to happen. Now that DeMers downtown has a nice road, they should not be allowing truck/beet trucks to drive through the heart of GF anymore. They should be instructed to use Gateway and whatever bridge they can get built on the south end. How far south is the closest crossing to GF currently?

Has anyone else received an invoice for their tailgating spots yet? I received an email stating they wanted to have all renewals back by July 19th (today). I left a voicemail and sent an email but have not heard anything else. Anyone else have issues?

I'll admit that I haven't followed this story very closely or know the rules about DII's playing up or down. Either way, I just can't imagine UM-C playing at a DI level. But I definitely could be wrong on that. Crazy to think about though. Personally I'd rather see more of the big schools move to add hockey. The general sports fan won't care about UM-C adding it. Not that many would notice a DI school adding it, but at least there is name recognition if a DI school were to add it.

Agree with this. Throw in a couple more MVC teams such as Missouri State, Illinois State. Any of the Big West schools. Seattle would be a good option also.
