Agreed. Must’ve really liked what Jones had to say and had planned for him. Still a chance he stays, but I would guess that would be a long shot...

Looks like DeSean Eikins has decided to transfer and has re-opened his recruiting. Sounds like he has the option to return/stay with UND if he doesn’t find another school to his liking. I wonder if there will will be others?

I Perhaps Jeff would’ve been open to doing this again had he known it was. Requirement?!?

As a VCHS alum, I think it’s great...if true. Not sure if he’s the best candidate as I do not know who else applied. I think Herbst would’ve been a solid choice also. The Boschee name will certainly inject some much needed excitement into the program at least.

And why do you think GF is voted #1? Because no one else in the US cares about hockey...pretty easy title to claim. Don't get me wrong, I like UND hockey and have followed it for the past 40 years. I also understand hockey is a niche sport. I too wish the Herald, and for that matter, UND; would devout more resources to the other UND sports...the sports that the majority of Americans follow and have the most room for growth.

I said I was on your side with the Alerus example. But when others tried to give examples such as the Kansas City incident, you lumped it into the same category as the Alerus incident. I’m saying its not as black and white as you make it, in regards to people taking risk by entering private businesses. They do so taking in some risk, such as not paying attention to a spill on the ground. Not the business owners fault. Walking on a sky walk that passed inspection, I would like to thing there’s a darn good chance that it’s not going to collapse. Maybe not the business owners fault but somebody didn’t do their job correctly.

I'm against frivolous lawsuits like you. At times, though, lawsuits are needed in order to improve safety. I'm not siding with the guy who slipped at the Alerus necessarily, especially since I don't know the details. But I also won't go as far to say that the company/businesses have zero responsibility in the safety of it's patrons. It's not as black and white as you are trying to make it.

Just a guess but better safety regulations and building codes to increase the safety of others in the future.

Regardless of whether he stays or goes, he is correct in the fact the BBall program needs more funding. Doesn’t matter who we hire if we don’t try to increase the funding for the program.
