  1. Another good night of lifts on Baukol’s Instagram, Elijah Beach moving 6 plates, 585 lbs on the squat
  2. Couple others from earlier this week too, both Wisconsin guys. Ben Buxa, 6’3” 280 DE Isaac Bunker, 6’4” 250 OL, offer from NDSU
  3. Garrison Monroe, 2-star DB out of Shakopee. Has offers from UNI and SDSU
  4. New Juco kid Braden Bryant benching 455 as well, the guy is a hoss.
  5. A Cavalier kid, I was a little surprised to see him pick NDSU out of high school. Had a couple DII offers. My guess is he crosses the river and plays for the Dragons
  6. I agree, I think UND absolutely should add him if they can. I would just slot him at 4 right now on the depth chart if he were on campus. You’re right, extra RB bodies are not a bad thing in the MVFC
  7. Just over a 1,000 rush yards in over 4 seasons, seems like he'd be a decent depth guy, but we've got a pretty crowded RB room
  8. Also keep playing Jeffers as often as possible. He stole 4 or 5 pitches in the 9th last night, including the game winning strikeout
  9. Losing Urweiler and Robertson sucks, but at least they transferred up. The remainder may be addition by subtraction.
  10. Reminder too that May 1 is the last day for athletes to put their name in the transfer portal, so if there are any more defections, it will be in the next 10 days. Deep breaths everyone
  11. Expecting one or two more before the end of the weekend
  12. Couple new offers tonight: Brandt Rice: OT, 6’5”, 280 Jack Liwienski: DT, 6’3”, 285
  13. He'll be a DE, he's about the same size as McNaboe and just a little lighter than Jaelen Johnson
  14. I would think Hunter Hansen, the transfer from Northern State, might slide down too. He's listed as a safety right now, but he's got OLB size, and it'd be great to have the speed on the edge
  15. Big question for me is center. Babak was average last year, I think largely uncomfortable playing the center spot. Is Lotysz practicing this spring? I wonder if Ben Christian can slide down from guard to center and be any better, then put another road grader at guard.
  16. https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/sports/high-school/2022/01/19/iowa-high-school-football-cade-borud-hockey-southeast-polk-north-dakota/6563047001/ Story on new recruit Cade Borud detailing how growing up playing hockey played a role in his OL play. Pretty cool.
  17. Instead of taking up a portion of the walkway on the end zones, and being separated by a measly curtain, I think it'd be a lot nicer and probably a lot more profitable to do something that a lot of NFL stadiums are doing now, which is putting suites on the turf level. It keeps the railings clear for SRO, and there would be that air of exclusivity to be on the field that I think people who'd be willing to pay for the Peterson Porch are shooting for. Call it the Peterson Patio if they still want naming rights
  18. I think this is going to be this year's special teams game. In the spring against SDSU, UND had a blocked kick, blocked punt, and a fake punt converted for a first down. I'm hoping Kostich pulls a rabbit out of his ass and I'm predicting a blocked punt and a kick returned to the house. Call it the mystique of the Alerus Center, but there's always something strange that happens when UND plays a ranked opponent at home.
  19. I like it, I don't have to go find articles about each game. MVFC blog helps summarize what happened. He does a good job.
  20. Looked like he got his shoulder popped pretty well on his second fumble. Stayed down and held it once he walked off. I actually like Boltmann better in the role anyways. He's a significantly better runner, but a slightly worse passer. With how rare Quincy passes anyway, it seems like it would be smarter to have the better runner in there.
  21. UND wins but doesn't cover, 35-10
  22. I won two season tickets in a raffle, but already have season tickets. So I will be selling the set that I won much cheaper than retail, for $50. I do know that it is section 202, row D, seats 20 and 21. Anyone interested please message me.
  23. If I predicted this game in March, I'd say UND by two scores. JMU looked very good in the first round, and their strengths play into our weaknesses. I can't see UND winning this. JMU 28, UND 21.
  24. Admittedly, they are pretty decent. 9 sacks over 6 games, but I didn’t think VMI’s d-line was very good. On top of that, there were a number of times that the QB broke arm tackles that I don’t think our defense would allow. It also seemed that they struggled to switch on stunts and late blitzes, which our D does a lot of
