  1. Brian Shawn does a great job explaining this in the 360 podcast. Essentially says it's nice to have the big arm guys like Day from UNI, or the mobile guys who can scramble, but what gets overlooked is the ball security and decision making. Wouldn't you rather have 65% completion on 10-15 yard passes than 55% and 3 picks like what Day had against Weber on Saturday?
  2. They did this on Saturday.
  3. Similar to us, they’ve played one downright terrible team and one mediocre to bad Big Sky team.
  4. UCF had 258 yards on the ground on Saturday in Boise, and I honestly think we could put up similar numbers. I thought we could have leaned on the run game even more against NAU, especially towards the end of the game. From the sounds of it, Boise's D line can be moved, and I don't think it'd be surprising to average 6-7 yards per rush. If we can dominate possession and execute on 3rd downs, I think there could be a chance.
  5. Craig Orlando breakout game
  6. QB Hurries can cause incomplete passes too though. Drake's starter had a 45% completion percentage, so saying he found open receivers after scrambling is just wrong. Not saying we shouldn't get home and get the sacks, but 21 QB hurries absolutely affects the efficiency of an offense
  7. NDSU has one of the biggest cupcake schedules I've ever seen. I get you can't choose your conference opponents, but their OOC is a 3-8 EWU, a 2-9 Maine, and a 5-6 Central Arkansas. Add to that USD, Misery St, Western Illinois, and Murray St, and they play SEVEN opponents who had losing records last year. It would be an embarrassment to their program not to sleepwalk to the postseason.
  8. Didn’t know where else to put this, but 2001 National title game was put on YouTube in May. The 2003 game is also on there for those who want to relive heartbreak
  9. Romfos are from Langdon
  10. Updated Recruiting page, we're sitting at 18 commits so far! Still waiting for a run on LBs, CBs, and probably a couple more OLs. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YGi99BFaD65R8QTiKtKViD4aKHQHKvBCgGvYhK-FzxE/edit?usp=sharing
  11. Think Schwenzfeier and Bubba are making a point about how bad the defense was last year? Every position up for grabs, regardless of age/role last year
  12. Great week for recruiting, I think Wyatt Bell will be a dawg on the IOL, Brunell should shatter the career rushing record in WI, and Theobald is the #1 DB in SD! Since Danny's been on staff, the formula has gone top qb choice one year, opportunity for development guy the next, then back to a top choice. I don't know too much about Sulik, but he'll have a chance to work and develop here, and you never know what will happen with guys like that! Here's the updated wiki for everyone as well. 13 commits, I'd expect 5 more between now and fall. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YGi99BFaD65R8QTiKtKViD4aKHQHKvBCgGvYhK-FzxE/edit?usp=sharing

  14. couple of personal wishlist players: LB Dash Bauman CB Zashon Rich RB Elijah Porter WR Santino Varvel
  15. Back from a big vacation and then the 4th, I finally updated the 2024 recruiting page. Seven commits so far, 22 offers out, I'm sure plenty more coming in the next week or two. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YGi99BFaD65R8QTiKtKViD4aKHQHKvBCgGvYhK-FzxE/edit?usp=sharing
  16. Google Doc has been updated: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YGi99BFaD65R8QTiKtKViD4aKHQHKvBCgGvYhK-FzxE/edit?usp=sharing
  17. Really disappointed about the Wiki being down. I was able to make this Google Doc with what I could get from the archives (thanks to @nodak651). It's going to take me a week or so to get all the prospects I had on the original Wiki onto the Google Doc, so bear with me on that. I'm also going to be going on vacation to Ireland and Scotland for most of June right in the heart of Camp Season, so if someone is willing to update it throughout June, PM me so I can add you as an editor to the Doc. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YGi99BFaD65R8QTiKtKViD4aKHQHKvBCgGvYhK-FzxE/edit?usp=sharing
  18. Langden College (what a name) a 6'4" 220 Defensive End from Minneapolis. very lanky kid, plenty of room for additional growth.
  19. Caught up on some recruiting stuff from this weekend, added about 30 new prospects to the wiki. Two offers went out over the weekend Peder Haugo, 6'2" 205 lbs RB/LB from Fargo North. He has an offer from NDSU.
  20. Need to win a few of these important recruits against other MVFC teams
  21. You're right, my fault! Thanks for correcting that
  22. I believe that's all the offers from over the junior weekend, but if anyone knows any others, drop them in here. There was a TON of recruits on campus!
  23. Antonio Menard, a 6'3" 215 lbs DE from Lakeville North. Holds offers from Service Academies, Yale, Wyoming, SDSU, NDSU, UNI
