Possession Time: 36:00 for UND, 24:00 for Mo State. Holding the ball for 12 extra minutes is exactly what was needed. And that includes 3 touchdowns from 38 yards and beyond. We had a 7+ minute drive in Q3 that ended in a Quincy touchdown. All around, great job by the offense

Will that practice court just be behind one of the permanent end seats?
-
I think the best way to pull off a win is through time of possession. Hold on to the ball for as long as possible, execute in the red zone, and keep the ball out of Shelley's hands.

Took me a little longer this week to watch any film on Missouri State, I was feeling down after a lifeless game on Saturday. Finally got to it today, here's what I saw from Mo St: Offense Mo State will drop 8 into coverage on passing downs, opportunity for delayed handoffs to pick up chunk yards I have a feeling this game we’ll see Danny unload some gadget plays. Seems like these games, when we play a good opponent at home, are when Danny dials up the trickeration Average linebackers for Missouri St, especially in run game, o-line needs to get to second level, lock on, and push them to the third and fourth level Defense/Special Teams Shelley will probably have 7-8 rushes that pick up first downs. On the other 50 plays, we need to rein him in. They run a lot out of 4 receiver sets, spreading defense out. Need to clog run lanes up the middle Broken record, but corners and safeties NEED to get on the same page, love taking deep shots on early downs SDSU had two missed field goals in the first half, we need to execute on special teams

First receiver to commit, still don't have any RBs committed, so linemen are definitely the priority in this class.

Seems like pretty affordable memberships as well

Stone Labanowitz for this one, former SIU qb. I believe Kasowski will still be doing home games for us
-
Great news for this one too, SIU is going to use Midco’s broadcast for the ESPN+ feed, so you should be able to hear Brian Shawn no matter what
-
I'm expecting a big game from Buckner with how much they run those TE crosses and outs. Should see him lay a couple big licks on their guys.
-
Skokna out this week again, Elijah Klein may get his first action this year. Casey Schultz seems to just be fighting through the pain, he's been banged up in just about every game. Couple of injured backup tight ends, but otherwise pretty healthy this week.
-
Also, 7'6" Wingspan. He's got pterodactyl arms.
-
Nigerian immigrant who played basketball growing up, he didn't put on a helmet until he got to U of Manitoba in the fall of 2020. Extremely raw kid, but someone with tons of potential.
-
Northwestern had some of the slowest linebackers I've ever seen, and SIU was able to cook them with tight end passes across the middle and running out wide. I'd expect our inside linebackers to step up and make those plays.
-
Off topic, but we need to start calling our RB screen passes Freundian slips. It makes too much sense
-
No snap issues once Lotysz got in, and I thought he held up well against an NAU defense that likes to move downhill. I also tried to pay close attention to Bryant in his first start this year, and thought he played as advertised, big bowling ball who can move some people downfield. No sacks given up, 4.5 yards/carry, very happy overall with the OL.

Also, the PxP for SIU is pretty good, but his color commentator is terrible, so my advice is to get your radio synced up
-
Looked at some plays in all three of SIUs games so far, here are some impressions: Defense is happy to give up slants all day, seems they want to keep everything underneath and avoid any bombs Two large D tackles on their line, front four wants to just stop the run, not great at getting to the QB Need to try to get receivers into space with screens and slants (hello Red) Nic Baker has been great at buying time by scrambling, sometimes runs and sometimes finds open receivers Offensive line stinks when facing pressure, so if we blitz, we have to get home Run game is nothing to be intimidated by, as long as the secondary cleans up
-
Feel free to transfer back
-
SIU could've had 2 more touchdowns off of turnovers, could've been a blowout. Nic Baker looked solid. Our secondary NEEDS to get on the same page.
-
SIU's first TD a 57 yard pass, safety got lost (yikes). Other than that, like petey said, some easy scores after turnovers

$50 a piece, available on ticketmaster

Won't the ESPN+ feed be the home team's broadcast? I think Midco's broadcast may only be available for Midco customers.
-
I'm wondering when/if we might see Dixon. No idea how he's performed in camp/practices, but if he's got instincts and knows the calls on defense, let's let him get his feet wet. If he doesn't work out or play well, we still can redshirt.

Sorry for the delay getting the Wiki updated, should be up to date now. One thing within the o-line commits that's noticeable: some beef. Maciejczak is 6'4" 320, Folland is 6'3", 330. Probably not the weight they'll end up playing at once here, but it seems like some intentional efforts to recruit hogs.
