I don't remember the last time we had a real good PP. It seems as though we used to just have players who could beat guys one on one and create that way.

Goon was saying we need certain players because they kill penalties, just pointing out they're not doing well. As well as PP and even strength.

PK isn't very good this year.

I was thinking more along the line of someone like Ryan Potulny, but that was a different situation.

Why is he a miss? He's -12 for his career while averaging a little less than half a point per game. With the exception of his sophomore year SCSU's W/L record since he's been there has been good.

So Oshie, Nelson, Lee, and Forney. Just wanted a little context for this Donovan conversation.

Can't believe I didn't think of him.

I was trying to think of guys who came here from high school recently without playing a full year of juniors. Oshie is the only one that immediately comes to mind, but I don't think Brain Lee played a full year of juniors either. How many others have skipped playing a full year of juniors?

I know you always want players who are bigger, faster, stronger, and smarter, but isn't it on the coach to scheme around the strengths and weaknesses of his players and the strengths and weaknesses of the opposing teams offense and defense. I'll admit I'm not the greatest football mind, but how often does anyone think we won based on our game plan. Maybe Freund would be exceptional at this or maybe not. I don't know who the best options are for new coaches, but I just hope for someone who can keep the opposition guessing.

With Kostich we'd give up the most SH goals in the nation.

Had to work last night so I missed the game. Watching it now and wondering how the hit on Smith and especially the one on JJ weren't majors. We have guys who have gotten 5 for less.

Would also hate to not be relevant for another five years.
