  1. Sparkling leotards could be an interesting distraction tactic.
  2. A walk off homer would be fun
  3. Strike zone seems inconsistent
  4. I don't like watching Cave hit or field.
  5. It's nice to see these young pitchers do well. They might be needed to take on a bigger role as early as next season.
  6. This was his 4th or 5th game and he's been good in all of them, but one.
  7. https://www.mlb.com/news/sergio-romo-minnesota-twins
  8. Average 9 runs a game for a three game series and only win one of those games.
  9. Smeltzer giving his team a chance.
  10. Cruz with a solo shot, keep them coming!
  11. Time for the pitchers and defense to step up. The game is still within reach and would be a great boost for the team to complete this comeback.
  12. Score 1, give up 2.
  13. He's done that a few times this year.
  14. Had a good start to the year. His drop-off was pretty bad. Only allowed two runs in his first 18 appearances, but had a 7.11 ERA in his last 19.
  15. Score two, give up four. The Yankees always seem to have an answer.
  16. Tough loss, I thought Kepler had tied or won the game until Hicks robbed him.
  17. The rookie was the most reliable pitcher.
  18. Chapman is struggling
  19. I fear that it's going to take more than that.
  20. Sano has been on fire
  21. Five solo homers so far tonight. I hope the pitching can hold up.
  22. Still can't find the article so I'm not sure which years were used, but I was wrong. Since 2011 the A's are second among all A.L. teams in winning percentage vs the Twins. The Yankees have the highest winning percentage.
  23. I can't find it anymore, but I read an article earlier this year that had said the A's are the only team with a better record against the Twins then the Yankees in the last 10-15 years. I think I'm remembering that correctly.
  24. Nine unearned runs in two games against a bad team. Sometimes it's not if you lose, but how you lose. It's embarrassing to lose two games at home against any bad team in that way. I know the baseball season is a marathon and not a sprint, but I just hope they're not running out of gas.
