I know you always want players who are bigger, faster, stronger, and smarter, but isn't it on the coach to scheme around the strengths and weaknesses of his players and the strengths and weaknesses of the opposing teams offense and defense. I'll admit I'm not the greatest football mind, but how often does anyone think we won based on our game plan. Maybe Freund would be exceptional at this or maybe not. I don't know who the best options are for new coaches, but I just hope for someone who can keep the opposition guessing.

With Kostich we'd give up the most SH goals in the nation.

Had to work last night so I missed the game. Watching it now and wondering how the hit on Smith and especially the one on JJ weren't majors. We have guys who have gotten 5 for less.

Would also hate to not be relevant for another five years.

Should've just fell down to draw the penalty instead of throwing the guy to the ice

0-2-1 non conference so far. Be nice to have a winning record out of conference by the end of the year. Not a must win, but don't want to dig a big hole early.

Hopefully they can figure out how to turn it around. It's only three games, but it might be a long year.
