Potato Bowl evening game would be great. Ya 7:00 sounds great. Try a mixture of 1:00 to 4:00 games for the rest. Always a 1:00 for Saturdays with a home hockey game. Somehow it's like the 1:00 games take up the whole day, easier to do things you have to do before the game! Rather than after! In fall, working people have at home outside work that needs to get done on Saturdays; with 4:00, they get er it done, make tail gating, cheer at the game! Hunters have all morning to shoot em up! Make tail gating, cheer at the game! Students can sleep in a little, make tail gating, cheer at the game! Guarantee you, you will have NOISE coming out of that student section!!!!!!! Not so far away drive into town fans, don't have to be so rushed to get to the game, sure one can suggest get up earlier but kind uh don't work that way! Senior citizens, we'll remind you what time the game starts! Make tail gating, cheer at the game! Players, coaches, trainers, and all, Ya, we lost the advantage over the Pacific rim schools with 11:00 AM game start according to their time, but we can hear the student fans, what an improvement. = False starts in critical situations! Broadcasters and media, you will have more playoff games!

Our defense is just so much better with Cole Reyes in there. He is a very talented player, we are fortunate to have him!
-
What I like there, is E Wash @ the Hawks Nest to close out the Big Sky for us, we'll be a much improved team by Nov 2017! Just hope our fan support can improve at the same pace?

How about a bye?

The way to eliminate the possibility of a game in Montana, is to get a top 8 seed, therefore they would be a road team if they meet UND.
-
You make it sound completely different that those posts claimed. That's not the jest of those posts, there are areas in the Alerus that are so loud from the speakers that it literally hurts you ears. I've sat in 3 different sections this year and 217 is terrible, 203 and 205 were no problem.

Many fans in the Fargo Dome are in need of an education (for lack of a better word), because there is bad stuff going on there, lots of incidences. Many coaches have nothing good to say about NDSU fans. If winning brought this on, I wouldn't consider them champs. Their Pres. is asking, for them to stop the "SSS" chat. I would guess he is going to learn a lot, because they haven't slowed done, and therefore he is going to have to get more involved. Once the Pres. understands what his students are actually doing, he may decide to crank it up. I rooted for the Bison in their first two Div I FCS championship games, and kick myself in the A$$ for doing so. I have a lot of Bison friends and taught it was good for the state of ND. But, after you experience and hear how bad these fans have become, one hopes they loose every game. I just sooooooo hope we have a crack at the Bison in the playoffs, and get to shut their fans uppppppppp. I would be just so excited if we knocked them off the throne. That be good enough for me this year,. Next year, we will have a better team with more depth and we go for it all.

You're getting close, some speakers hurt your ears and most don't. Depends where you are sitting. Is that that hard to understand?
-
Understanding there are a few polls, 10th in this one is showing, if we keep winning we slowly move up. Most teams have 3 games left and some teams above us can loose resulting in us possible ending up with a 7th or 8th seed. One game at a time, 2 more times! Then week off!
-
There's a lot of corn left in the fields, hopefully most of that gets combined this week! Deer hunting is the next 3 weekends. Attendance was disappointing Saturday, hopefully in 2 weeks we get back to over 10,000. Success is coming to the football team and that seems to be the pre-requisite to rebuilding the fan base. We're probably need another year on that yet. A good test of rebuilding the fan base for this season would be if we could get a home playoff game, we so need to win last two games of conference.
-
Reason he wasn't deaf his whole life is that he didn't start sitting in section 217 till he was older.
-
And they'll loose more and more fans till that ever happens. What's wrong with looking into it? We're trying to get more and more fans to come to the games and if we chase out some fans with these loud spots, were fighting an uphill battle.
-
The Alerius Center told me that the UND Athletic Department has total control of speakers during football game.
-
Homer with comets like you are making, you absolutely don't understand the point we are making. We are not saying, lower the noise all over so the opposing team doesn't have a visiting team's disadvantage. How stupid do you think we are???????? Some sections are so bad it literally hurts your ears, apparently your not in one of those sections. Is it not possible to identify the bad spots and only turn those speakers down some, or some remedy? By the way, the critical noise for home field advantage during the play needs to be loud and come from the fans. That fan noise won't pierce you ears. I've sat all over the Engelstad Arena over the last 15 years and never has noise from speakers hurt my ears.
-
It depends where you are sitting. I was in 217 two weeks ago and was terrible, my ears never hurt that bad. Put fingers in my ears as soon as noise came out of speakers. Lots of people covered their ears. Now this Saturday I sat in 205 and it wasn't bad. I called the ADept and complained, try doing the same. It is so bad that it needs to get corrected. What section were you in?
-
Completely agree, little weak. I've always said beet harvest is a small part of the total equation to UND football attendance, granted local farmers and beet harvest contributors go to games, that's great. Takes people from all of GF and UND supporters to do this right. I've talked to several people at the game today and it was there first game in couple years. What's that say, we slowly building a fan base?
-
Yes, we need to be a lot better at special teams, and help across the board is coming, also. It takes some time to rebuild a team. Recruiting is a work in progress. We are building our team, special teams hasn't really had the top priority focus yet. Just hang around another year or two, we've been making great strides. We actually could win our next two games, then be the real test.
-
There's something going on with these speakers than meets the normal eye??? or ear
-
I'm thinking it depends were you are sitting at. I called the AD department about this last week, they say there checking, Homecoming when I sat in section 217 it was the absolute worst I've ever experienced at a game anywhere. I sat in section 205 today and speakers didn't come close to hurting my ears.
-
Hoping tor a turnover advantage over Weber and our special teams to set up, I'll be leaving for the game in couple minutes. Go UND!
-
Good Morning, well the sun is soon to rise on the Hawks Nest, a little drizzle over night, 40 degrees going to be 44 game time, 14 mph NNW wind, going to be loud inside on a great day! The football will be dry and not misguided by wind. The team is ready for this one. Some top ranked FCS teams will loose today, but not Bubba's!
-
Hope that stat still holds after we've completed this consecutive 5 weekends of ranked teams. Our defense would most definitely come of age by then, then.
-
I gathered Oxbow6's point was that Cam will have to play as good as or better than last year for us to win because we don't have a proven defense in front of him like we had last year. The # of shots on goal and quality of shots at Cam could be significantly different this weekend. Our first NCHC and road games.
