  1. That's what should happen, I can't imagine season ticket holders not claiming thier seats. This is a BIG game!
  2. Did Sen. Hoeven go to college anywhere in ND?
  3. After NCAA Selection Committee's Sunday morning announcement, we get to watch Richmond and A&T play each other this Sat. to visit us, Dec 3.
  4. Last week the coaches had us right between Richmond and NC A&T Nov 14 Stats had both Richmond and A&T ahead of us. Nov 15th 1 North Dakota State 3 2 Eastern Washington 2 3 Jacksonville State 1 4 James Madison 4 5 Sam Houston State 5 6 The Citadel 6 7 Central Arkansas 9 8 Richmond 8 9 North Dakota 10 10 South Dakota State NR Playoff committee puts us between Richmond and NC A&T
  5. Congratulations Bubba, quite the accomplishment in 3rd season. FB is great at UND, thanks!
  6. Garbage Plate most definitely had challenges at Moo U. Just imagine listening to some student like this in your class. Those instructors with cow boy booths had to have kicked him off campus.
  7. Looks like an attempt was made, so that's good. Thanks! It seems like we're challenged here at this time at filling the Hawk's Nest, but I can see in the near future that we might have sell outs. This team has great potential and therefor more fans will eventually follow.
  8. Interesting McFeely read with way too many Bizon compliments. But not in all comments, I'll just take this part out: "There was also a kerfuffle over TV coverage last weekend at South Dakota. The Coyotes are partnered with Midco Sports Network and, as the home team, wanted exclusive coverage of the game. But NDSU and its TV broadcast partners insisted on also carrying the game. There were discussions. NDSU pushed and the conference sided with the Bison. NDSU’s TV partner also carried the game. And there seems to be a bafflement over the media restrictions NDSU tried to put in place last summer. Every school in the Valley thirsts for local coverage and most wonder why the Bison would try to limit anybody from covering their team. The move was viewed as arrogant." SD won't forget this. Just Imagine what the Bizon Athletic Department would of done, if SD's TV network wanted to waltz into the cow sh$t barn for their game last year with them in Fargo????? Which of course SD WON! I just can't wait for the day they get knocked out of the playoffs.
  9. Maybe things were a little lax in ticket sales, because we never come close to selling them all????? Lots of empty single seats scattered in reserved sections. Just a taught, not shooting arrows at anyone, did some season tickets holders do this intentionally to have an empty seat next to them?
  10. I know people in the past that have bought 2 tickets (one in a row above the other) like you did. Fans in the Hawks' Nest are pretty good about moving over a little so you get to sit one behind the other. Just be polite, ask and explain, mostly likely you'll be accommodated! Remember you have two rows of fans to work on and maybe a little movement each way on both rows gets the job done. It's always seemed to me, that there are so many empty scattered single seat tickets here. Anyone know why, could it be with TicketMaster, and people choosing there own tickets, therefore leaving a seat open and then taking their 2 or 4 tickets? One would think if you bought your tickets from a ticket seller at the ticket office, that the ticket sellers would be trained not to have open seats all over in the middle of sections.
  11. And we have our starter resting for 3 weeks!
  12. All new teritory! I'd say the 3 weeks rest is by far more important than a little accumalation of rust. Players may really be enjoying all this, being on the side lines as their soreness's disapear? Most injuries should be pretty healed by Dec 3rd. We are a remarkably much better team, healthy. The rust will all be wore off in the 1st Quarter, rather than, where in the game it's toooooo late to heal up. We should play ball like we belong there the rest of the game. If the crowd is near capicity, the rust could disapear during warm ups!
  13. Richmond coach Rocco said that in the playoffs, Clise and Chenault “will be the options.” Both played quarterback last Saturday, after Lauletta went out.
  14. Right, Lauletta is a great quarterback. They looked like a different team without him. Richmond would of most likely been a top 8 seed had they not lost.
  15. Fumble and interception by their 4th string quarterback and it's a tie game!
  16. And he can go all day long for 2 more years, + the deep run into the playoffs.
  17. That's another good reason to have this week off, if we were a #9 seed and lucky enough to have a home game, we'd be at a challenge to get enough students to the game.
  18. 1,000 students is what we need. Still 200 free tickets and they are not all grabbed? Are they procrastinators? This is a Big Game! Maybe the $5 is not that big a deal, one drink downtown. I'm confident they'll give a good showing. Hopefully the students that were short on money to go to games got their tickets.
  19. Which core group of players will be motivated to practice and execute a game plan after heartbreaking losses. Richmond would like to borrow NC's 3rd string quarterback. They seem the more talented but this will not be an easy game, their quarterback situation is a mess. The MEAC and SWAC have the Celebration Bowl. A&T played in it last year and received $500K plus $200K worth of tickets, which they are allowed to sell to their fan base and keep the $. The MEAC's playoff reputation has nowhere to go but up, they haven't won a playoff game since 1999. For UND this looks like the best play in pair on the table?
  20. The players weren't hugging strangers, they'll be OK. Bubba and Company are doing a great job with these players. With that the time may come when we get beat by a better team? Hope not!
  21. Ya, but what we know for sure is they don't make logos like they used too!
  22. What surprised me the most this year is the greatness of our depth! So many players (yes, starters also) made this team successful. And, coaches? There is greatness in depth there also.
  23. I went to UND in the early 70's and football was big on campus. But the game changer is, the FB players were not a big then as they are today. I would think this years team is the best. Especially, if they win any more games?
  24. You get an "A" for the day. Hope those 2 that attend have a day of their sports watching life!
  25. Thanks for your effort, that's interesting!
