I wouldn't hope for much success there. The best seats are for sale now, because IMO, not many season ticket holders will not buy. Season tickets holders will have friends, family, co-workers, and so on who will take their tickets. This is a pretty big game and tickets may be in bigger damand than SS posts elude too.

I was @ Engelstad ticket office at 10:00 this morning, they didn't open windows till 10:00, I bought 9 tickets for kids and grandkids. The guy ahead of me was buying 4, he asked were best tickets were and was told in section 215. Well, he took his time looking over available seats, and when he finally dicided to buy in sec 215, he lost 6 rows, from apprently tickets being sold on line and/or @ Alerius, because they only had two windows open @ Engelstad.. After he paid for his tickets, I asked him if it also took him that long to stand up cheer after UND scored a tocuhdown. He laughed, so did a few behind me.

#3 to #5 We didn't play any top teams out of conference.

Now that we know the playoff picture, Congratulations to UND! Bubba and all have done a great job. Future in FB looks great at UND.

NCAA FCS FB selection just started on ESPNU

I was at the 71 Bison game, Sioux had complete dominance, yet over the top ranked team in country. Never seen a whooping like that. Interesting how they were ranked # 1, even way back then, on accomplishments of previous years. The game was also in Fargo. That was the biggest win in my college days! Bison fans were pretty quiet after that one. Hope somebody steps on the Bison this year just to shut up their arrogant fans.

Hope you are right, you sound way more optimistic than I do, and coming from a Bison fan, great. Maybe it's just that we didn't make it last year, and therefor have not much confidence in the selection committee. Also, we are not a proven playoff team, no past Div I playoff history. This committee seems to like to give credit to traditional winners.

In all likely hood yes, hope your right. Now, most ADs no, but possible even if it were in the minds of a few, it could make a difference. Now I should of used a proven commodity over traditional winners, that one really seems to carry weight, example N Iowa.

When there is formula in place to seed all 24 teams with tie breakers intact, simply that's it, and everyone knows what they have to do or even hope for. And, sure formulas's can get tweaked for the next year, but are in stone during the coarse of the year. The NCAA tournament committee must adhere. When humans choose as it is today, well; politics, prejudice, Alma mater(or even home state), who you know, past disagreements with NCAA(our case Fighting Sioux hangover), favorites, teams with better attendance, traditional winners, and so on, may come into the decision process?

That is going to be a machine, barring injuries. Add a top notch defense. More depth, what potential. Might have to buy more season tickets!!!

It's ridiculous how much difference the NCAA has between the #8 and #9 FB Seeds. Night and Day!

UND is at a # 9 Seed, we don't play this week, kind of like a tie, so the committee leaves us there. They have already set us up on the Seed Bubble. Remind you of last year except that the Bubble is on the Seed cliff instead of the Playoff cliff of last year.

Here's the scenario I'm most uncomfortable with: SDSU gets beat on the road by UNI, entirely possible. Remember the advantages of the home field, well stay tuned. The NCAA puts us at 9 or 10, I call it Fighting Sioux Hangover, hell they've got us at 9 right now. We don't play, so they leave us there. We get paired with SDSU because of non conference proximity, ranking differential from 9-24 means nothing at this point, and they out bid us with their shinny stadium. Bubba would have additional challenges trying to get our team mentally ready for that road game verses a home game.

Your eviction clause would be a must, maybe that's the sticky point in some talks that may have already taken place? Playing the Minn/Wis/ND/Michigans every year would be great for our fans (especially during a period if we had some down years). This B1G hockey conference is going to be a winner some day, because these big schools have many resources, they'll figure it out. Sure we lead the nation in home attendance, the rest of the NCHC as a whole is a step behind us! These B1G schools draw better than most people on here realize, excluding those empty seats in their tourneys and sure thing things really fell apart in Wisco.
