  1. UND/Weber 24-24, goes into overtime. Can't decide, that close. UNI wins in overtime!
  2. How many losses does a eastern team get to have to still be considered an undefeated team by the East Coast media?
  3. No fee, with that bargain how would the city pay for more black top to put all the tailgaters on?
  4. Now that's a fan, UND needs a couple thousand of you! I'm already getn excited 4 this big game!
  5. Anyone know who gets the $5 for parking? Who gets the tail gating $. Might there be some kind of a spit with GF City?
  6. But then, the Bison charge you plenty to get into the game. Although probably worth looking into tail gating prices.. UND FB ticket prices will go up eventually, if they keep winning and get to the point of consistently filling the Hawk's Nest.
  7. You can't be serious, you really think siouxfan512 meant turning football into a frat party? We need to build our fan base. We need more fans and we need fans that will cheer on in a way to give UND a home field advantage. Die-hard Fans! To get this to happen, all organizations at UND should to be encouraged to get involved. We are so far away from the Bison in fan support for football and attitudes like yours keeps us from getting there. Our Football team is closing the talent gap with our friends to the south, but in comparison our fans are a long ways away.
  8. In the early 70's, there would be large pockets of Greeks in the stands.
  9. We are slowly moving up the ladder as a ranked team above us here and there looses. We so need to run the table, being we have no respect yet from the pollsters. A loss would considerably drop us for that reason. Some kind of a run in the playoffs would do us good for building respect from pollsters and the selection committee.
  10. Talk football to everyone on the street this week! Hockey & VB OK too. C U @ D game!
  11. Surprised everyone, even the SU fans. Most certainly, our athletes.
  12. Not sure that the 2 SU schools would favor inviting us! Playoff time,,,,, the choice is not their's. If it was just somehow possible to have one of them forced into a December game at the Hawk's Nest!
  13. This game is so huge now that ND and Weber State have won all their conference games to this point. Either team can win this one, the Hawk's Nest gives us a little advantage, I see turnovers as the key factor in this game. The winner here will have inside track on conference champ/co-champ. Winning would also shore up the fan base!
  14. You have a valid point. Now, for Monday of game week in this season, we do have a lot of available tickets. Some kind of advertising or promotion should be undertaken, and there probably are plans in the works?
  15. Dry lake is getting pretty shallow, lots of large walleyes caught there this summer.
  16. Completely understand your point.
  17. I was in section 217 and other people were covering their ears also. My ears were really hurting, never had that happen to me before. From comments here, seems like it was only bad in some areas? Out speaker was right above us and was very loud for pretty much every sound that came out, not just the screeching hawk. I called the Alerius today, they referred me to the UND Athletic Department, 777-2234. So I called AD, they will check on it, very friendly. These things sometimes take more than 1 complaint, I encourage anyone with concern to call the AD. I don't want anyone to get me wrong here, I do believe we need loud fans and support this team, but this is a little different.
  18. That's a bargain for the UND Student Fee Allocations. Now as far as that beer, I'm sure UND/TheRalph thanks you for the Support.
  19. The people that were with me wanted to leave in the 3rd quarter, because their ears hurt so bad. I suggested to stay. I'm thinking because I bought their tickets, they felt committed to stay. Has this any effect on why the students leaving early? Maybe not main reason, but some?
  20. I sat in the 8th row of section 217, right behind the SUU fans. My ears never hurt so much before, granted I wasn't in a US War. I was putting my fingers in my ears cuz of the loud speakers. The SUU fans really taught that was of poor taste, and I have to agree with them. Like mentioned here, ears were bleeding, is the best way to explain it. They really need to turn that down some. I normally sit like off the 35 yard line, how was the noise in the center stands, was this noise this bad all over, or just in certain areas?
  21. The Bison could stumble yet! This playoff picture is going to be interesting. We just so have to win out!
  22. These other schools you talking about have been winning for a while. It takes time to build/rebuild a strong fan base and winning is a big prerequisite. Fans encouraging other not so involved fans to get supportive is a bonus.
  23. Great, hope you do just as well with the waterfowl. Lots of birds in the area. Also hope you are smiling alllllll the way home and Weber State be wagging their tales.
  24. How's the Hunt, I was in DL yesterday. Weather a little too nice for me?
  25. It's a great experience following them this season. Can't wait for Saturday @ the Hawks Nest!
