Everybody supporting UND football can help with attendance in a variety of ways. I bought 7 tickets for the homecoming game and invited relatives to go. They are going on their own this weekend. Now, I'm not saying people need to buy tickets for luke warm fans, but some fans need a little motivation. Moving up from Div II takes time to build a successful football program and it also takes time to build the fan base. We can all think of ways to motivate fans! Please do your part as a true ND FAN and encourage relatives, friends, co-workers, and etc. to come to the Hawk's Nest and hear the Screeching Hawk and cheer us on to victory!!!

If we're including playoffs, we'll have 9 for sure! Hopefully double digits!

Unbelievable come back, couldn't have happened to a better team.

We don't have any pollster respect yet, that is probably the norm for an improving team like UND. Some teams rated above us will lose, and that will help us move up, of course we have to keep winning.

If we can win out, maybe we replace E. Washington or Montana ?

Last year we had a vastly improved team from years past and we just missed the playoffs. Early this year we were still finding ourselves to be an even better team. What's happened in the first 7 weeks; injuries, young players filling in, great coaching with some fan ridiculed simple play calling, coaches working hard at mentally and physically developing our players, players working hard and smart to mold into a good team, coaches using more complicated plays as the season progresses, one week at a time mentality, and so on. We are most definitely a better team now than at the first game. We have a lot of talented players. We don’t need to play Montana to be noticed. The Big Sky schedule is what it is. What we need to do is continue improving and WIN OUT. A FBS loss, a 9-1 FCS record with 8-0 Big Sky record and a 1-1 non-conference record with 2 teams at or above the playoff bubble will do us just fine. In the past 14 months; Montana, SD and SDSU have beat the Bison, all with time running out. At the rate we are improving, come playoff time, bring on the Bison, and Bubba will Leave No Doubt

There aren't many you agree with on this board. My reasoning is if we go undefeated in the conference, that will be remembered, more than if we played or didn't play Montana. A lot of posters here complain about the polls and who makes the playoffs. If we go undefeated in the conference and loose to Montana in the playoffs, or lose to them in the season; I'd choose the first. These pollsters and selection committee would most definitely notice an undefeated conference season in the Big Sky. Next year after we make this years run in the playoffs, bring on the best, but lets make some waves this year. A team builds from season to season when it marches to the top, it doesn't happen one weekend during the season.

Or us have 3 loses? No thanks, I'd wait till the playoffs to meet Montana. That potential 3rd loss for us would really hurt our seeding at the end of the season, being we now have a fair chance to go undefeated in the conference! Would I like to play them, absolutely, but not now.

Beavers play have played us pretty tough. Quite a few splits.

You may be on to something here. I had high hopes and expectations of Kennedy at the beginning. Unless there is yet a big surprise in the Athletic Department, he maybe more like a one timer, and not as in hockey. With all the bad press as of late years with the UND & NDSU Presidents, this could be more of the past, last thing UND needed?

Just can't believe how this all transpired in the last couple of months, unless there is some kind of big change to come out yet? Way too much energy involved to be the same old, same old.

That is a great idea! Someone needs to get that idea (goal horn) to headquarters, especially since we own the latest Natty. Other teams would wonder what the hell is that? And, they would learn!

I've bought several, the only problem I had is they would only sell me 2 at a time.

If we were to be in the playoffs, that would kill 2 birds with 1 stone. In light of our athletic budget crises, Pres. Kennedy would fire Faison. We would have a good shot at winning our first Div1 FB playoff game.

We'll probably get our chance in the playoffs.

I'd rather have our schedule where we don't have to play them. Cause, they already have one loss.

I was in the 8th row in Section 217 above the SUU fans. They had seven rows of fans right below. They had great cheers and were very friendly.

My take; luckily no one got hurt. SUU (last years conference champions) is a well coached and run team. This player will be talked to/disciplined. Things happen in football, this is over. Let's look to next week.

Of course, and cow college won't slip much in Mondays rankings, because of previous years success. Teams that become winners get a lot of respect. We need to WIN OUT to start gaining respect!

I wouldn't put much taught into this schedule description, most games in the Big Sky are pretty competitive. We are only 1-1 in FCS non conference games, but the Big Sky as a whole has done respectable. All we need to do is stay as healthy as we can and win out.

The potential prospects that were at the Fargo dome might want too see a game at the Hawks Nest!!!
