Why are we still running a 3-4. Was Harris our last "relatively dominant" nose guard? Need to reboot the D-fense. If we can get away from the Mussman Era Spread and the Rudolph Era I formation, than for the love of god our defense can evolve too.

Pretty impressive from Tommy Football. Sure he made a Freshman mistake on the pick, but kudos to Danny making some adjustments and letting the kid get into a rhythm.... Stares down receivers and became a bit dependent on Wanzek, but to see that kid come in in that moment today looked pretty good. D came up with plenty of stops as well.

Feel for Santiago and Oliveira and the Seniors.. Chaves will not do anything about this. Nothing will change until Bubba rides into the sunset.... This is his offense and this is his defense.

In response to the "bison talent train,".... Is that a really talented football team? Absolutely, but so is half of the FCS field. It's amazing what an atmosphere can create for student athletes and an environment that they don't want to let each other down. They are all pulling in the right direction. Their egos were checked at the door when they were freshman and learn to work together as a team. This is a culture that I'm beginning to notice from Bubba's squad and I for one am absolutely excited for the future of this program. Next man up. In Bubba We Trust. On to Sac St.

Just stopping by... I attended an NSCA clinic a year ago that featured Baukol and Kramer (SU) as keynote speakers along with many other coaches from the Dakotas, Colorado, and Missouri (great conference if you are in to that sort of thing). All speaking on the speed of today's game and how S&C has evolved to make the players bigger faster and stronger all the while promoting movements that help prevent injuries. I think UND is pretty lucky to have Baukol from what other coaches in the field say about him and the wealth of knowledge that he has.

I don't mind it. Just win. Go UND

Just my two cents, but I love getting to watch UND Football on Saturday's in Rapid City (albeit random games at times) but I think Midco does a good job with all that extra stuff covering UND sports, especially in western South Dakota.

Creating a winning mentality will market itself. Bubba and the gang have us in the right direction. JUST WIN. Playoffs or bust. #leavenodoubt

Hopefully adjustments have been made this week to pressure this explosive offense. Santiago and Oliveira will get their touches but my god we need to keep our defense off the field which means the combo of Studsrud/Bartels/Mollberg need to keep the chains moving and the clock running. Can't let this get into a shootout. I for one am really nervous about having Prokup hang 50 on us at the Al. It's not a problem until Nodak gets voted as the new Nickname of the University of North Dakota. I guess in the future (completely hypothetical) I would rather sit after a football game discussing the game rather than answering questions about the Nodak nickname.. I can't blame them for making fun of it, which kinda sucks

Honestly... Trying to explain it to others from other states and other schools about the nickname game is ridiculous. "Seriously.. Nodaks?!"... I can't help but agree with them.... Roughriders or Hawks. Just get it over with.

South Dakota SoDaks, Montana Mounties(?), Minnesota Minnesotans, Michigan Michiganians), Mississippi Missi's, Nebraska Nebs, Vermont Vermin, BORED, New York Yorkies, Arizona Zonies, AT, Nevada Nevadites, California Callies, WORK, Maine Man, North Carolina NoCars, South Carolina SoCars..... And so on and so forth... IF each state school had to be a shortened version of the state's name, then by all means let's be the Nodaks.... But we don't have to... For the love of god let's not be the Nodaks..
