  1. Lets call it "bad publicity." Generally there should be bad things that come out of it right? But I don't see how this is going to negativly affect UND, other than verbal slander. I don't think we will see any objective differences at UND; mainly because people have short memories (hence people are pointing out NDSU's "bad publicity" in the past like when their AD got caught in Nebraska doing "homosexual things" and was caught by the cops but like I said I forget the details). I think UND athletic events attendance will be the same. I don't see any UND recruits not going to UND because of this. I don't think potential UND students are going to go to a different school because of this. The only slight negative might be potential future AD's at UND, but believe me there will be no shortage of applicants that want to be the Athletic Director at UND who can and will do an excellent job. I don't see any ojective negatives at UND long term for this. Maybe its just me. I will take those "negatives" any day due to this, than any possible long term damage (which would take way longer to repair) to UND caused by a lame duck athletic director. But again that's just me.
  2. Does it matter? No. Someone has to always be the first. Now if UND does a 360 review of an AD down the future your answer will be answered of "Yes there already was an AD with a 360 review." But again does not matter who was first. There had been no need for one until this point for the AD. At first "DIinFargo" thought the review system was that way for only one employee. I pointed out it was the first time the public has heard about it. Now somehow it is suppose to matter if it was an AD's first time? Like Sicatoka said was the AD suppose to be exempt, because after all was it the Dean of Medicine's first 360 review? Wait...who cares. It adds nothing except to distract from the real point. Fact: UND has a review of one of their employees saying he is/was doing a poor job. What do most organizations do with people with poor reviews? If they have the balls they fire them or move them to another position. Glad UND is probably going to do one. Trust me Bunning has no legal grounds for anything aka a lawsuit. UND is doing everything very textbook. Debate about it all you want. Not talking to the media, 360 reviews to make sure it was in writing, and the list goes on.
  3. It will be an upset if NDSU does NOT win the game against the Rodents.
  4. Airing the University's dirty laundry out (and the matter is pretty petty at that) in public can only help it get stronger. Reading: Bunnings responds to Survey makes me realize Bunning did a good job. But didn't get along with some people because his "good job" of balancing the budget hurt some peoples feelings..."aka the good ol' boys." The question needs to be asked: Where is the line between "books" and "street" smarts in todays world? You could be the best to ever exist at your job but if the people you work with don't want to work with you....You're Done (doesn't matter how). or, better yet...How far can and should office politics go in an organization before it gets destructive to that organization?
  5. It is not just one employee. It has happened many times over the years. You're just hearing about it for the first time. Would you like to try again?
  6. Really? In five years people will barely remember this... (the majority of UND shareholders; siouxsports.comers are a minority) let alone care.
  7. Who's Whose Rival? MN and WI both consider UND their biggest hockey rival.
  8. I think its a great day in UND athletics when the administration listens to its coaches & fans. They are actually doing things to get things done at UND and not "waiting" around for a lame duck director to quit...etc. The free flow of truthful information is powerful.
  9. Those were quotes from someone else with contacts within UND, the football broadcaster, to point out the fact that he was missing from the game and other events, thus almost making the rumor almost 100% true Bunning will not be the AD at UND much longer. Those who don't see the reading between the line, also think Janet Jackson & Justin Timberlake's "nipple slip" was actually a warddrobe malfunction.
  10. Will UND be allowed to use the buy 1 get 1,000 free tickets like NDSU did for their first IAA game (against a nonscholarship school to make sure it was an easy win. Looks good in the history books ya know)? If so I do not forsee a non sellout.
  11. Not to mention its already old news, been in the Herald. Buning on the Way out.

    UND vs CWU

Its like watching a picture slideshow.

    UND vs CWU

I am pretty sure they are cheap and aren't buying ample bandwith to handle all the traffic. Probably doesn't happen when Michigan & USC games are broadcast on the web.
  14. Exactly. Talk is cheap. Those two games were probably 7 years ago, before the new Ralph.

    UND vs CWU

It is getting worse. I keep clicking the video link but no video at all. I listen to the audio and just hope to watch "highlights" on the video portion. Not happy.

    UND vs CWU

Glad to know I am not alone...even the devil voice. ha Hope things get better.
  17. Dan Hammer said (while thinking he was not on the air...I bought the video version for the football game so I guess there are no commercials on the air). He said...."there will be no pushups." "He hasn't been at sporting events for awhile." Sounds like Bunning is definately done and is definately adding validity to the RUMORS so many people have been talking about.

    UND vs CWU

Is it also constantly stopping for you (the video)? If I click on "audio only" it seems to work fine. The video portion not even "choppy" but stops completely.
  19. Without changing anything to my computer the "sample video" now works. some companies need to check themselves out tech wise before they tell people its "their fault." Another side note I bought a day pass to watch the Sioux football game for $6. It is only the opening kickoff but the video stops constantly. Very annoying, and if it keeps up it will be just like dataflix and not recommended, FYI.
  20. Would it not be that tough if UND & USD got into, say, the Gateway League? (down the road by maybe losing a couple members to make room). Thus almost controlling the conference to have it centered around them for future expansion? They would even have UNI as a conference friend.
  21. From the article: Maybe some major donors are already lined up for the new stadium.
