Is it a bad thing if the rich and powerful use their money to get more rich and powerful? These big time programs can only pay there coach so much. Some are already are on par with the NFL. They can only build so many stadium upgrades. Its good they are giving back to the athletes they are making so much money off of. Its bad for the small guy. The small guy doesnt need to buy a ferrari if he cant afford it. I think the FCS should vote a no for the stipend.

Wh No one wants to be the first to lose 20 cents a gallon?

Yeah youre comparing "year 4" of those players to "year 1" of these players.

Did McFeely just call Fargo small? Dont tell that to that "small minority."

They say it's like people who complain about politics but then they never vote.

Thank. But my point is I find it funny when my relatives post on facebook: "feeding the word" and pictures of them farming. But when i would go eat at the grandparents (full blown old school "on the farm" types livestock with chickens, massive gardens etc) they would rarely eat what was planted "in the field" unless you count the bread and sugar as it was mainly animal products and whatever was from the garden. Our dessert would be the raspberries we picked with half and half and sugar. *I understand the animal feed comes "from the field. " Nothing to do with degrading farming or NDSU. Just an off topic observation. Dont ranchers feed the world more? I admittedly dont know much about farming and what gets planted. But it seems very little if anything is directly edible.

Man that football forum is boring. College Hockey > FCS Football.

Over half the NCHC rated higher than Michigan.

And Michigan holds the Big Tens top spot in the Pairwise at #14. Good thing the Big Ten has an autobid.

Watching that video makes me wonder. If a person doesnt eat bread, sunflowers, sugar potatoes, or beans. Do "those type of farms" even raise , stuff theyd eat? Fruit. Veggies. Meats. It seems to me the midwest farmer doesnt even grow much food people eat at least not directly. They grow a lot of food it seems to feed cattle et al.

I was finishing this guys basement in Grand Forks last year and I kept thinking gosh this guy looks familiar. I later found out why.

I wonder if not playing (and beating) a FBS program next year might hurt their GameDay chances. I would have thought back to back hosts of the program. The producers would say been there done that. But who knows.

How many years did it take him to win a natty at that school?
-
Jerry York 5 years to win a natty at Bowling Green. Jerry York 7 years to win a natty at Boston College. #ButParity #ButBostonCollege #ButJerryYork

we are talking coaches here buddy. That BC coach won a championship way before Hakstol (and counting of course).

Hakstol has a goalie coach in Karl Geohring. Dean Blais never had a goalie coach.
-
We can only hope he is growing faster than other coaches. Every coach right now is also growing. If only we could freeze time and have only Hakstol "grow."

It's obvious UND sports mean a lot more and are a lot more personal to some people than others. Maybe it's a growing up in Grand Forks AND UND alumni thing.
-
My 32 year old buddy just had a medical scare with death. I told him dont go dying on me. We still havent watched UND win a championship together. I cant wait to hug him at that game when it eventually happens! Jumping up and down like never before! We were in high school last time UND won a championship and have traveled 4 Times all ending in disappointment.

Why is Wyoming vs San Diego St on ESPN 2 right now at Wyoming? Cause they are FBS and more recognizable because of it?
