  1. My advice? Don't steal my car.
  2. I wish UND still had a particular back from Wahpeton. He weighed what Miller and Garmam weigh combined and still could move.
  3. That does seem to be the common theme amongst the NDSU throng regarding laws of this state.
  4. Me? I didn't give it front page Sunday edition coverage in the Fargo Forum. THEY thought Bresciani's characterizations of his constituency worthy of printing. Personally I find them uncouth and unbecoming of a person in that position. My guess is the Forum believes the same (hence why they put them directly into print). The man should know the words "public record" regarding his NDSU email account by now.
  5. And if he'd have said the same about band parents and members, or FFA club parents and members, or ... football parents and players? And yes, NDSU has an FFA club.
  6. And yet no one addresses how Dr. Bresciani views a portion of his constituency.
  7. Why yes I did because reading the front page Sunday edition of the Fargo Forum I found the statements made by Dr. Bresciani about his constituency to be somewhere between atrocious and appalling.
  8. Actually, per the North Dakota Century Code, Section 15-12-01: "The North Dakota state university of agriculture and applied science must be located in the city of Fargo in the county of Cass. Wherever the term agricultural college appears in this code, it means the North Dakota state university of agriculture and applied science." "The North Dakota state university of agriculture and applied science ... " NDSUAAS Reference: http://www.legis.nd.gov/cencode/t15c12.pdf?20131029205548
  9. Oh, we're discussing UND items as well (as you're well aware). We're multitaskers.
  10. No. The Fargo Forum thought it is a front page Sunday edition story. We here just chose to talk about what the Forum covered. Are we enjoying the circus and the documentation of how Dr. Bresciani views and treats his constituents? Indubitably.
  11. The only place where 0.500 is an acceptable record at UND is in its Meteorology grads (because that's considered good for those guys).
  12. Yup. Like it said in the article I linked, admittedly anecdotally, people are saying they won't buy insurance, pay the fine, and then only buy insurance when they get sick because pre-existing conditions must be accepted. As long as the fine is cheaper, that's the smart economics route.
  13. Why? Because the average person is feeling lied to right now because of this: http://investigations.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/10/28/21213547-obama-admin-knew-millions-could-not-keep-their-health-insurance?lite
  14. This is as good if not better.
  15. After he loses badly at Northern Arizona (they'll take note that UND was in the game at PSU), and then loses at home to UNC (and you heard it here first), ... it'll be done.
  16. This thread. C'mon people, find something positive once in a while.
  17. There's a post by a 'SUer that I agree with.
  18. Now that Cags, Jewels, whatever, is out of Altru, I'm comfortable asking if anyone has video of the collision. (It would be not cool to ask the same if he was still in the hospital.)
  19. If the accusations of MIP w/o team sanction are true it is more reason to ... Fire Muss. (There. I said it. Happy Bison fans? Beware however, because now it's been said and will be fired your direction also.)
  20. Bresciani's view of some of his constituency is interesting. I wonder who else in his constituency he is "not interested in visiting with". PS - Is Bresciani's use of "Russian roulette" hostile and abusive to my ancestry?
  21. Heck, if we can have however many pages on UND shuttle buses, why not talk about the NDSU dance team foibles. http://www.inforum.com/event/article/id/416559/ In an Aug. 27 email, NDSU President Dean Bresciani wrote, with the subject line “Dance Team Drama: “As you may know, they and the parents are on the warpath … again.” WARPATH? Seriously? Tsk. Tsk. Dean. Not very PC of you. And this is how Bresciani deals with students and parents? “We are not interested in visiting with the dance team members, their parents or their leadership at this time or in the near future,” he wrote in an Aug. 29 email to Bresciani, Matthew and other staff. It's a great read about how it's all BUTFOOTBALL and damn the rest, or maybe just damn the womens activities, like VB and WBB, at some places.
  22. Seems the Gene and he NDSU president aren't always replying to emails, or if they do, polite. http://www.inforum.com/event/article/id/416559/ In an Aug. 27 email, NDSU President Dean Bresciani wrote, with the subject line “Dance Team Drama: “As you may know, they and the parents are on the warpath … again.”
  23. UND 2.0
  24. Altru sees the changes they need to make to the changing landscape, and they are changing. I predict this is merely the a ripple in the first wave of change hitting health care nationally. "Every nation gets the government it deserves." -- Joseph de Maistre
  25. My prediction? Another day closer to UND Football 2.0.
