  1. OK, so most of these applications won't see Faison's garbage can; instead, they'll see the garbage can in UND HR because they didn't meet minimum requirements.
  2. Yeah-right. We know your application is completed, in the fax machine, with a timer set to send it at 3:55 pm on the 10th.
  3. Don't put in words that aren't there. I said the PSU cops will report what they can determine. That doesn't involve framing. It involves evidence and proof, not internet speculations. I'm thinking the hotel probably has security cameras out front and the PSU cops are retrieving those.
  4. The Big T-elev-en *made* them do it.
  5. At 0505 hours, if the driver was unaware of an issue, I'd say the passengers may have been unaware as well. I trust we all drive and holding that wheel is the best sensor of what is happening to the vehicle. At this point it's simply coming down to: - if Hardee knew he'd hit something and left, he's wrong. - the PSU cops will have a report of what they can determine.
  6. Isn't false arrest a common law tort, thus, it's not false arrest until proven in a court? Translated: A cop can arrest you if they think they have cause. If they're wrong it's not your call to decide they're wrong and try to resist.
  7. When did Hardee know he'd hit another unoccupied vehicle? This is paid administrative leave, not unpaid. That, to me, says Faison is taking a cautioned stance until they get the facts. If it was unpaid I would expect they were preparing for a dismissal.
  8. Every departure is an opportunity for a new player who wants to play for UND and its new coach.
  9. Faison getting out in front of a not so great looking situation. That's why he's good. If Hardee did knowingly damage an unoccupied vehicle and drive away he deserves to face consequences. If he unknowingly did damage he should make someone whole for the damages. Clearly there's more to this than we know at this time. Knowingly committing hit and run is wrong.
  10. This team needs to move: - Move their feet: I'm so tired of re-e-e-e-eaching for a puck with a stick instead of taking one more stride and sticking their nose where the puck is; and I'm so tired of coasting, instead of skating, when the puck is on their stick; heck, I'm tired of all the feet not moving. Move your feet! SKATE! - Move the puck: Good grief I'm going to lose my mind if I see another offensive zone draw won back to the point and then sent cross-ice to the other point so that guy can ho-o-o-o-o-old it and allow the defense to stack up in front. Shoot before the defenders can set up! Move the puck around quickly; quit standing around flat-footed with the puck on your stick! All prior critiques (always RW entry, too much dump) still apply.
  11. The ND open records laws. He's making requests as per the law allows. I thought all you media guys knew (and do) that.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tpl4Cr3-Tm0
  13. Our football team, especially the defense, would have to actually make contact to get hurt.
  14. December 10 can't get here soon enough (so we can move from the "speculation about candidates" to the "complaining about the hire" phase).
  15. The polite, UND, thinking man's, answer: The commercial art studios are downtown. This would be co-locating students with them (while still leaving a base at HFAC on campus). Or The vitriolic, uncouth, posting forum answer for contrast: Segregation? Is that why NDSU students that don't smell like animal barns now have a downtown campus in Fargo (so they don't get made fun of by those that do smell like the barns)?
  16. IALTO.
  17. It's out there. And I'm surprised where I heard it (UND event in Grand Forks recently).
  18. Complete the following sentence please: NDSU Football had its last 3-8 season in 20__ which is just __ seasons ago.
  19. UND fans had time to laugh it up from about 1997 to 2003 (UND on top, NDSU down). Well that changed: NDSU is riding high, UND is down. But as always, the times, they is a-changin' ... and always will.
  20. My calendar says "next game" is closer than "last game" right now so it's time to move on to that. <turn page>
  21. 1. If you can't just block the kick, I guess you resort to rodent-based gimmicks. 2. No one should ever complain about using the "Caddyshack" / Bill Murray / " ... license to kill gophers ... " clip ever again.
  22. Yup, the applicant list on December 11 is the one sure to have the finalists and the selection.
  23. Reading that list, Robin Ross really caught my eye ... http://www.gowyo.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/ross_robin00.html
  24. I'd go with "Freudian".
  25. Dave got the job on his merits, yes; but this rumbling is out there. I noted the alignment of Dave's latest deal just before O'Keefe's announcement. To me that signals a clearing of the way to a change, if need be, down the road.
