  1. Mollberg threw a pick on what should have been the drive to tie the score. I figured that would've set him back. Nope. He led the team right back down the field, ... and then the fumble on the EWU 7 happened. Mollberg is a freshman with no protection and an OC who thinks he's playing XBOX.
  2. All of the UND WRs seem loose with the ball, #19 seems particularly so, but #83 isn't much better. Run them through some of the ball security drills that the RBs go through if we're going to use a short pass game as a pseudo-run game.
  3. A head coach who is a former offensive lineman, and he has no run game. He's not worth the $114k. Thank goodness that's all he's making. That can be bought out.
  4. The more I think about it it's time for a total reboot. UND Football 2.0
  5. Desperate? No. But if you donated them, that would mean funds that may have gone for that will go toward other things, like scholarships.
  6. The only way Kiffen would go to "fly-over" North Dakota would be if his USC contract required USC to pay the difference between what he should've made at USC and what he's actually making. He could coach at UND and screw over USC for firing him. But I'm not sure I'd want that guy.
  7. What I saw from EWU yesterday was not a top ten team. UM and MSU are better. SDSU and EWU are probably at par with each other.
  8. I don't understand that response. Are you saying all you'll pay for is hockey banners? Why don't you donate for the others? I'm sure UND would accept your donation.
  9. Would it be better if UND had to pay to play in REA, like they have to pay to play in Alerus Center?
  10. Knowing the price of a parking ramp, I wasn't completely kidding with my "monorail" comment.
  11. I know: The one are you donating the funds for first. Am I right?
  12. How ever did anyone get to the game before the shuttle buses from the ramp?
  13. Not to mince words too much, but when an AD says "program" do they mean "sport" or "department". Most say department when they mean department, don't they? And to that point, most say "programs" (as in more than one sport), and never say "departments" (unless referencing the rest of their university).
  14. <Howard Cosell voice> It looks to these eyes like Volley used the jab to draw FargoBison into a counter-punch, and then Volley de-liv-ers with a solid rock, a straight right cross to the jaw. </Howard Cosell voice>
  15. Steps to Stopping Bleeding: 1. Stop the cause. Remove whatever instigated the wound. 2. Stop the bleeding. Apply pressure to cause wound to start to close and heal. And I completely agree with UNDBIZ: the goodwill effects of the current course is very negative.
  16. It's down to two: Lane Kiffin or Leslie Frasier.
  17. I think both of your numbers are low.
  18. The RENO rule is in place. There is no "if" in the official policy. I can't find the "if" written down anywhere other than in a settlement document specific to and pertaining only to UND. The NCAA chose to enforce it's policy against UND but hasn't pressed the issue anywhere else. To that point, how would Notre Dame get tribal approval? Would they need a resolution out of Dublin?
  19. It only took a minority of a minority to make the last name disappear.
  20. Which number will be bigger come Sunday morning: - UND mens hockey total shots on Vermont goalies (Fri + Sat) - EWU points scored against UND in football
  21. 1. Coaching. 1A. Player development (see Item 1). 1B. Executive leadership. 2. Defense. We have no issues in the area of excuse-making under point 1. That's exceptionally skilled on a weekly (or is that weakly) basis.
  22. I'm assuming you mean in just the first quarter.
  23. To Bob's point: What would the overall budgets look like without The REA and hockey revenues?
  24. I'm familiar with the reporting that a non-profit has to do. There is far more disclosure, and salary reporting, and relationship reporting, that has to be done in comparison to a private corporation. The IRS is always looking for a way to rip away that non-profit/tax exempt status, and if you hand them the rope to hang you with on your Form 990 all the better in their eyes.
  25. Shark-torn-izzard-nami? Shar-tor-iz-mi? Yup. Definitely: shar-tor-iz-mi.
