  1. Touché.
  2. He can get you a better rate if you combine home and auto insurance. Oh. Wait. He'll be saying that soon enough.
  3. Traction? That implies friction or resistance. They are grease in Kirk's axle.
  4. Can we fire him before the third quarter starts?
  5. Why wait until Monday. Send it tonight. Fire him tomorrow.
  6. Glenn Caruso.
  7. 42-7 at half. When I said fire after the Montana game and use the bye week to get an interim in place nobody listened.
  8. Ah, Grasshopper, before I can answer you must first answer: Black stovepipe or yellow stovepipe? 1979 was great: Bucs come back from down 3-1 to win the Series, and against that Orioles starting rotation no less.
  9. Seems fair. The UND Defense leaves opposing offenses alone ...
  10. Hold séance; hire Lombardi.
  11. Which was better? A) Tekulve's throwing motion (at about 2:00 and 2:50 of this) or B) the old Pittsburgh Pirates uniforms (including the stovepipe hats)
  12. Kalen DeBoer would probably apply.
  13. You can't mention sidearmers without mentioning Kent Tekulve.
  14. Plus there's now talk of the NCAA taking on a confederation structure, where each sport would set its own minimums (scholarships, schedules, etc.) for level of play. That's very different from today's structure. Someone in the past, on this site, talked about a "cafeteria plan" approach to sport alignments which is exactly like a confederation structure. Not to pat myself on the back too hard but I bet you can guess which poster that was.
  15. Carlos is Charles. I might have given you credit at "Chuck" but instead you get <facepalm>.
  16. Brian.Faison@athletics.UND.edu
  17. My prediction: FCS coordinators looking to be FCS HC in the BSC (with a dome and an ITF to recruit with) will be cold-calling Brian Faison asking when the position will be posted and where to send the curriculum vitae beginning Saturday night.
  18. Face it: College Game Day is a made by media, made for media event. When you have a 24 hour sports network, or two, or three, or "Ocho", you need material. If it can be (faux) dramatic, all the better. So, why not hang a few mentions of the (not rival) rival around town to stir the pot? Congrats to Fargo for hosting it well, but let's be honest about what it is.
  19. If that t-shirt doesn't cover, or at least mystify, the curvy physique, don't wear it. That advice would be well heeded by too many in yellow that I witnessed today. Now, to try to explain why hockey fans tend to wear jerseys: In by-gone days, it was cold in most rinks so the hockey sweater (as they were first called) was warmer than a standard shirt but less bulky than a jacket.
  20. Yes, but yellow t-shirts on all the "full figured" male and female Bison fans in the age demographic you mention is actually worse than jerseys. At least a jersey will cover the "curves"; those yellow t-shirts leave nothing to the imagination. <cold shiver> Pass the eye bleach please.
  21. I personally like it when NDSUAAS is called the Bisons (with two 's' sounds).
  22. 25-18 UND 3-0 UND Weekend sweep in Montana.
  23. UND loses third set 25-20 but is up 18-9 in the fourth (time out MSU). This "WatchBigSky.com" is kinda nice ...
  24. Oh, so you were there and heard the untranslated version too. I posted the translated version of events to make it easier to read.
