Seems this new regime can recruit. They have some good verbals lined up. I'm disappointed to not see a RB; however, than can still change. What I'm now interested in seeing is if they can do more than recruit, meaning put a winning product on the field. Don't tell me; don't sell me; I heard all that 12 months ago; I want to see it. Fargo-Moorhead radio is aligned into basically two large clusters and a couple outliers (one of which is AM 970 WDAY). If I recall, NDSU is buying air time on stations and controlling their own broadcast (including selling their own advertising time). I believe UND is still running an affiliate model where the stations pay to take the broadcast and the stations then sell their advertising time during the broadcast. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

I could see the ability to "horse shoe" the south end, but isn't the Aurora Ballroom (and associated kitchens) too close out the north end? I think Alerus always saw all that open land to the north and had no worries. When that filled in, they had to act on what was there to the south or (as some one said) risk being landlocked.
