Thank you for qualifying your statement appropriately.

That is an astounding stat.

It'd be interesting to ask the Duck (Getzloff?) and Ranger (Stepan?) who used modified full masks during the post-season to discuss if/how it affected their play.

Today's "offensive" word? Tranny. Yet, the country's best known "Tranny" says: http://www.salon.com/2014/05/27/rupauls_aggressive_tirade_in_defense_of_the_term_tranny/ Policing words to become the oppressor. Hmmm ....

Hossa shows up for two penalty kills and three late third period shifts a game. Beyond that he should be paying admission.

Crawford has not been sharp. Crawford needs the optometrist and to stop fighting the puck. But maybe we're onto something here: Crawford and Sharp change positions. The way they each look at times I don't see how either could do any worse.

I'd love for that, but I'm skeptical on the subject. Pros: Arena (capacity, TV capable) History (w/ Minnesota, Wisconsin) History (national power) Cons: BT hasn't allowed affiliates until recently (Johns Hopkins lacrosse)* That would help** UND (and do Minnesota and Wisconsin want to help UND) You know if Denver got wind of something like that as a possibility they'd lobby hard for the spot There've long been whispers of Northwestern (or Iowa or Illinios) adding the sport *Hopkins was brought in for lax but probably more so for their influence DC beltway influence on Congressional research funding. **Visibility and money

Sharp? I'd say he's due for an optometrist visit. He seems like he's not seeing the puck. And when he does, he's fighting it. My prediction: LA wins in 6, or CHI wins in 7.

How things are today is how they'll always be. </cynicism>

1. There's the handshake agreement, and renege by Taylor; again, the point stands: poor form in North Dakota. 2. No, it wasn't and isn't ideal for NDSU ... so why do it? Answer: It was a convenient 'out' for Taylor to fill his schedule with something other than UND, 'economic circumstances' be damned. Taylor would be better served to just stand up, man up, and say he'll never schedule UND under his watch. Right now he's just pussyfooting around.

Not much more to say in this thread as that's still not faced retort or refute. Folks would do well to save their breath (keystrokes?) and re-read the last sentence of that.

Handzus. Gesundheit. Now I can go to bed.

Too easy. Answer: Think "Bottineau".

I was surfing over to Spike: roast of Don Rickles. Good stuff.

LA had no answer for the "four letter words" (Kane, Shaw, Saad) in the third and the are still buzzing in OT. Lots and lots of stuff that's not being called. Sharp still on the side of a milk carton. And ... welcome to OT number two ...

Spelling bee?

And now "King James" does a pre-game locker room interview with a t-shirt that says "White Hot". Are those "code words" for "angry white man" and LeBron is stereotyping? Is this something a Caucasian should take offense at? http://www.nba.com/heat/news/white-hot-2014-heat-playoffs

I thought he got a big contract from Speedo after his time as a Badger student-athlete.

Masterfully played.

The Fargo Forum reprinted this as their lead editorial in Saturday's paper: http://www.latimes.com/opinion/editorials/la-ed-graduation-speeches-canceled-commencement-sp-20140519-story.html I wonder if the Forum (and the Herald, also a Forum Comm outlet) see the sweet irony in their running article and article and editorial and editorial effectively promoting the idea of censorship on campus, and then running that piece (from the LA Times) that ends with: I wonder if the NCAA has a subscription to the LA Times.

Don't fear The Reaper ... because in the end, The Reaper takes it all. Just accept it.

Reaper. Reaper. Reaper. Reaper.

And yet still no retort or rebuttal to the following:

That really wasn't his finest work.

Was it thrashers ... or Reapers.
