  1. Kelly Howe's (UNDFootball360) logic makes more sense by the minute: "Bubba’s contract status. Tough to be hanging around when a coach is nearing the end of his contract with no guarantee of an extension in sight. Bubba has two years left, which in the football terms means he has one year left." What outsider wants to come in and put themselves at risk of being gone in possibly ten months if Bubba retires.
  2. Circa 2013.
  3. Like I said, path of least resistance, would be that. And it's not far removed from the resume of the DC.
  4. Oh my ... Luke's resume is linked above.
  5. I see path of least resistance: - King and Pawlak as co-OCs - King takes over QBs - new hire guy takes over WRs
  6. If I were Jake or Luke and wanted more than another OC gig, I'd stay on the outside for now, like Freund just did. Kelly Howe's (UNDFootball360) take re: Freund seems spot on to me.
  7. Do Jake Landry or Luke Schleussner have better resume than Danny Freund. One could argue it.
  8. Like I said, "... until I know the additional details I reserve judgement."
  9. What is "excess" cash? What are their monthly operational cash needs? What are their required (by lenders, by their charter) reserves of cash? Are they managing the funds well (not just in simple savings but managed short-term funds with market returns)? Do they have debt obligations, most notably to UND Athletics? I've seen the number "$15M" cash reserves. It'd take 20x that to rebuild REA/BESC. Could there be more transparency? Yes. But until I know the additional details I reserve judgement. I don't blame the boogeyman until I know it's really scary and not a mirage.
  10. We had a chance to not be once upon a time ...
  11. The most honest take I've seen, from UNDFootball360: Danny made a strategic move for Danny. I don't blame him. He's responding to circumstance around him.
  12. Might be time for hard, honest discussion: Mayville State enrollment (fall 2021): 1172 Jamestown HS has a larger enrollment.
  13. TOR big 4 ages: 26, 26, 27, 33. One of those is not like the others. My guess is TOR lets Tavares go at the end of the current contract. https://www.capfriendly.com/teams/mapleleafs
  14. Godsmack with his telling of Psalm 23:4-6.
  15. Gronowski? He'll declare for the NFL draft if the NIL bidding war doesn't hit his number.
  16. Flagged for @Dave Berger ...
  17. They're going to be hit by the departure of all the "five and six years in the program" guys.
  18. Every time Tim says Anchorage, drink. I count three so far.
  19. GER ducks relegation by 5-4 OT over NOR.
  20. Don Henley denies that this hotel has anything directly to do with "mirrors on the ceiling, and pink champaigne on ice." Boy I teed that up for someone ...
  21. You can assume or you can read the link.
  22. Did not watch the game but the fourth quarter PxP says UW did what they should've (starting at 1:09 remaining) for the most part regarding time; it's just that Texas had TOs to burn on first and second down. The bigger issues: - the UW injury on third would stop the clock (that's a free TO for Texas) <- that play was run to get first down and end the game; you may argue knee but knee guarantees having to punt where a first down as I said ... - a false start on fourth stops the clock again after the injury - a kick catch interference penalty giving Texas 15 free yards (16 to 31). https://gohuskies.com/sports/football/stats/2023/texas/boxscore/23328 You can't clock manage injuries or silly penalties; you can only manage around them when they happen. Show me in that DeBoer's clock management mistake.
  23. I'd say most likely is a semi v. FIN* (unless SUI pulls a stunner on SWE). *FIN and CZE each finished third but FIN had 5 pts to CZE's 7 pts.
