2023-24 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

How "snuggly" is PWR right now? I changed the Wisconsin/UND game to a UW win and Bucky goes up to #2 (from 4) and UND goes to #7 (from 3). -

Have they said what kept Johannes out? -
Personally, I don't believe you are PWR safe unless you are locked in at 12 or better before conference tourney play. AHA, and then get surprise winners in CCHA, ECAC, and B1G, and 16-13 are in trouble.

A brawl in the NCHC and neither team wore green? That's inconceivable!

I only saw highlights but the camera work was abysmal. Whole game like that?

Who gave Strinden the red lightsaber? -
Let the others worry about their houses. Be happy our house has good options should they be called upon.

I'm fine with a magnet on the fender to find the putty. No need to open the hood or trunk.

Massey had UND as #26 defense in FCS (7th in MVFC in defense). Can they improve that to top 15 FCS and top third of MVFC.

Where's @McBuckets!?!?! Or is he still reeling from learning ORU's Issac McBride's Twitter handle ... @Mc3ucket ... https://twitter.com/mc3ucket

Agree. SCSU seems to use their glacier* to have a skater "get lost" then appear as a late trailer down the slot. If you're not hustling back and looking for it they will use it as a dagger. Their other tactic is the cross-ice to a man low forcing a pipe-to-pipe move by the goalie. And it's exacerbated by the different angles of the wide ice. How they thread some of those passes (even or on PP) I'll never know. They do use the glacier to their advantage. *Olympic sized ice

He'll have to wear a suit, but no hat is required at home games because he'll be indoors. (Dallas had a hole in the roof so that's why that Landry wore a hat at home.)

CapFriendly says Pinto still is not under contract. Say he gets hurt in a practice, are the Sens still on the hook for his treatment?

Now "Hazy Shade of Winter" is stuck in my head.

Sanderson, Brandt, Schmaltz, or Livanavage?

Ken "The Snake" Stabler and Steve Young surely do not.

Dang ... no "Bill B" ... no "Pete C" ... not even a "Jim H" ...

Good point; some days you do impress.

Deadline was Monday; parse, do interviews, and do quick backgrounds Tuesday; announce Wednesday. The longer it goes the less likely it's internal. And no sub-comm is complete without the Grafton Gangstas: Lykken and Moe.

So set a facility minimum and teams have to declare what they'll use should they host. Say it's 5000 seats. UND declares REA; DU declares Mags; all the Connecticut schools (Sacred Heart, Q, UConn, Yale) plus Army and Brown and Providence pick and reserve a venue together. Yes, lots of risk for the arena reserving a weekend that could be nothing. Use of home sites for the rounds of 16 and 8 solves the "small arena" issue and the last Four get Frozen.
