I think someone told the US that their choice is wake up and beat Denmark or have to play Finland in Helsinki in the quarters.
(I'm assuming FIN will beat CZE later today and Finland and US will be the two seeds.)
Question (OK, I know the answer already):
Was there any input from "the public" before the Ben Brien logo was rolled out? Sure, that wasn't a complete reboot (name and logo), but the public heard it was coming but had zero input on the final result.
I'd say at this point anything anyone hears is rash speculation at best. It's far too soon after the first event for the cascading events to be sorted out yet.
Wait, wait, wait ...
We've been told here time and again by NDSU folks that NDSU has no concerns in the realm of Title IX. So why would that fellow bring that up?

Shots 23 46 <-- that's outshooting 2:1
PIM 16 12 <-- that's not extraordinarily high
Seems to me that SWE played their game and won. Plus, they (SWE) have the "playing next door" advantage that the USA is used to when the WJC is in Canada.

If I've learned anything in life, I've learned that "absolute" (i.e. always, never) words come back to bite you; there are always exceptions.
However, here I'll use one: The new logo will never have a bird in a head dress.
