I respectfully reply with: Alerus Center, October 17, 2009.
-
He gets to play MACtion Tuesdays ... livin' the dream ... I guess ...
-
Nothing like an old-school NFC Central black and blue division tilt with the dreamcicle Bucs at the Sanders Lions ... and the Pack lurking off to the west.
-
In a twelve game season, is a 7-5 regular season enough to make the field.
-
Saturday late, one goal lead, Blake crossed center, had no great options, dumped, and went to the bench. Jake Brandt commented that dumping it must've been hard for Blake (because he likes the puck on his stick) but it's a play he needs to make when it's the smart, safe, right one.

In a 17 game season, the last eight or so are the pertinent ones should you make post season -> how are you playing now. In the old hockey PWR calcs "last 16 games" record was one factor. I wasn't a fan of it but it has its place. And the NFL might be proving it.

"You very funny man, ... regular Bob Hope!"
-
My guess is it won't be needed and they'll name someone by 2 pm Tuesday.
-
Mentioning that: 2-1 game and under a minute with faceoff in defensive zone and they roll out ... Ben Strinden.
-
I raise @geaux_sioux’s ire when I say tell me about your offensive line and I’ll tell you about your season.

Kelly Howe's (UNDFootball360) logic makes more sense by the minute: "Bubba’s contract status. Tough to be hanging around when a coach is nearing the end of his contract with no guarantee of an extension in sight. Bubba has two years left, which in the football terms means he has one year left." What outsider wants to come in and put themselves at risk of being gone in possibly ten months if Bubba retires.

Circa 2013.

Like I said, path of least resistance, would be that. And it's not far removed from the resume of the DC.
-
Oh my ... Luke's resume is linked above.
-
I see path of least resistance: - King and Pawlak as co-OCs - King takes over QBs - new hire guy takes over WRs
-
If I were Jake or Luke and wanted more than another OC gig, I'd stay on the outside for now, like Freund just did. Kelly Howe's (UNDFootball360) take re: Freund seems spot on to me.
-
Do Jake Landry or Luke Schleussner have better resume than Danny Freund. One could argue it.
-
Like I said, "... until I know the additional details I reserve judgement."

What is "excess" cash? What are their monthly operational cash needs? What are their required (by lenders, by their charter) reserves of cash? Are they managing the funds well (not just in simple savings but managed short-term funds with market returns)? Do they have debt obligations, most notably to UND Athletics? I've seen the number "$15M" cash reserves. It'd take 20x that to rebuild REA/BESC. Could there be more transparency? Yes. But until I know the additional details I reserve judgement. I don't blame the boogeyman until I know it's really scary and not a mirage.

We had a chance to not be once upon a time ...

The most honest take I've seen, from UNDFootball360: Danny made a strategic move for Danny. I don't blame him. He's responding to circumstance around him.
-
Might be time for hard, honest discussion: Mayville State enrollment (fall 2021): 1172 Jamestown HS has a larger enrollment.

TOR big 4 ages: 26, 26, 27, 33. One of those is not like the others. My guess is TOR lets Tavares go at the end of the current contract. https://www.capfriendly.com/teams/mapleleafs
