That was flabbergasting. More hilarious is they took Loheit and James, not Loheit and Jamernik.
-
Sandy never looks happy behind the bench; however, I agree in that the more dour he looks the more sour (chippy) his team's play.
-
In my mind there's more than "playoffs" on the line Saturday. The team has melted down since the NDSU game.

Vaya con Dios. Aloha.

WasSU is, what they call in the trade, deep in the fiscal hurt bag ... and that was with PAC money coming in. Now they have less than PAC money coming in because the media value PAC schools are in the B1G or BXII.
-
Vigen would make sense.
-
They "fired" the goalie first (waivers). You can't fire 97 and 29.
-
There are two kinds of "chippy" in my world: - the cute kind that lets me hand-feed them peanuts in the summer in the back yard; and, - the ugly kind that shows up when UMD is down a couple goals and sees no other path back into the game.

Purple cows head FB coach. Born in Esmond, ND; salary would be in scope. 128-30 in DII and 42-28 at DIII Eau Claire.

Lance Leipold is running something called … < check notes > … the Kansas Jayhawks.
-
They publicly announce Tuesday; pretty sure the decisions and notifications are done by close of business Monday.
-
That should be plural, … brothers.

We have big, mobile LT and LG. We have a big, strong RB who is deceptively fast. Sounds like the 1982 Washington NFL team. (Yes, that’s Stone Age history to some of you.) Someone introduce the “counter trey” concept to Danny. https://studentofthegame101football.wordpress.com/2013/11/24/play-design-the-famous-counter-trey/

Pretty sure the hit on Schmaltz will get a look on Monday.
-
Never forget: Dean Blais … was a Gopher.

I’ve said this about the hockey roster, I’ll say it about football coaches: I don’t care where you’re from; I care where you can take us.

Is Bubba claiming their DBs were holding and it was uncalled?
-
Questionable … OK … Duluth was in chippy mode and it was uncalled most of the night. Like I said, Duluth finally gave something that could be looked at by the league office; the game officials had to act and had to take back control. The major was justified and was also an accumulation of uncalled items. That’s Duluth’s game: chippy. They want you to react and lose focus. They are trying to draw power play chances. Blake did react and give a PP and frankly it could not have happened at a better time. <— Say what? … It happened at the end of a period where the team could be refocused on (a) what not to pay attention to, and (b) what does require their attention. After the shot to Johannes’ jaw (the major) if that wouldn’t have been called it could’ve gone ugly* … right to UMD’s plan. * I fear to see what 24 y/o men like 13 and 28 would do to 18 y/o boys.

If Schmaltz is worse than D2D this might be the best time: - Miami and Bemidji for the next four - Ness playing fourth center decently - Louie goes back to center and the top two centers are OMac and Berg Anyone notice how they shuffled the lines when Schmaltz went down? Assume LouieJam to C and Kunz went from extra to the vacant wing (where LouieJam had been).

So UND gets an effective home playoff game. Win … and we’ll surely be sent on the road.
-
If you’re not going to score a goal a minute just stay in the locker room.
-
In other news, they were the Duluth broadcast team, not a neutral third party (ala CBSSN). Next we’ll hear Tim Hennessy may question calls that negatively impact UND.
-
DU goes down 3-0 and answers with a snowman. Did the hotel send their wake up calls an hour late?
-
Random thoughts: - ice is water - Navy dominates on water - USAFA and Army play on frozen water - Navy does not

A bit much.
