  1. GER ducks relegation by 5-4 OT over NOR.
  2. Don Henley denies that this hotel has anything directly to do with "mirrors on the ceiling, and pink champaigne on ice." Boy I teed that up for someone ...
  3. You can assume or you can read the link.
  4. Did not watch the game but the fourth quarter PxP says UW did what they should've (starting at 1:09 remaining) for the most part regarding time; it's just that Texas had TOs to burn on first and second down. The bigger issues: - the UW injury on third would stop the clock (that's a free TO for Texas) <- that play was run to get first down and end the game; you may argue knee but knee guarantees having to punt where a first down as I said ... - a false start on fourth stops the clock again after the injury - a kick catch interference penalty giving Texas 15 free yards (16 to 31). https://gohuskies.com/sports/football/stats/2023/texas/boxscore/23328 You can't clock manage injuries or silly penalties; you can only manage around them when they happen. Show me in that DeBoer's clock management mistake.
  5. I'd say most likely is a semi v. FIN* (unless SUI pulls a stunner on SWE). *FIN and CZE each finished third but FIN had 5 pts to CZE's 7 pts.

  7. You misspelled 'psychosis'.
  8. Whenever I see "Latvia" I think Latveria and Dr. Doom. Marvel Comics should sponsor a "Dr. Doom" jersey for them.
  9. Against LAT and the recent confidence they've shown, that was a must.
  10. Secret's out on this team: - let Blake skate the ice capades around the perimeter - don't let James or Johannes flash the speed - light sweep checks easily get the puck off the sticks of this team - little to no net front presence outside of the power play - don't try to play racehorse with them Clog the middle (1-2-2 or 2-2-1), then defend the house with five skaters, and this team doesn't know how to get through it. But there's time for them to figure it out.
  11. Seeing the push (on no rest) GER gave CAN, this surprises me little. At least BU gets Fantilli back early.
  12. The words "primary residence" are a clue. https://www.tax.nd.gov/prc
  13. Demographics say some of those schools won't exist in a decade.
  14. 3 FGs or did they miss an extra point?
  15. https://fightinghawks.com/news/2023/12/20/north-dakota-football-adds-28-during-early-signing-period.aspx That list only shows two incoming LBs and one played DB in HS and is under 200 pounds. I guess you're saying Packson Bettis is a guy to watch.
  16. Lemme guess: three nasty wristers from high slot.
  17. Who of the 28 inbound on that list could step in and play this fall? The WVSU DB transfers seem too obvioius.
  18. Wentz has to have one of the best "dollars paid per snap played" in NFL history. Credit him for making that bank.
  19. He does cover ground with that stride. And he's tall, so an end zone jump ball threat.
  20. Earl's grandson ... that'd be Ben Strinden.
  21. The film I've seen of Deng Deng shows he has a long loping stride, not short-choppy steps like Belquist. Is he going to get open with that stride? Last "lopers" I recall are Toivanen and Maag. It worked for them I guess.
  22. I don't see QB Romfo getting higher than third on the QB depth chart so you may be right. Both Romfos in the RB room would add some depth and they run hard.
  23. Spicer had the last laugh, until now. Does Bubs get the last laugh or do we hold off on that until fall.
  24. To try to get this back on the rails ... based on this: https://fightinghawks.com/news/2023/12/20/north-dakota-football-adds-28-during-early-signing-period.aspx Why two QBs? I asked once already without a great answer. Odds we see both Thadens starting at OL at the same time at some point? The "front seven" recruits on D all seem light, but they are coming from HS.
